Why does Manchester United have a Muslim Supporters Club? Why organize around religion?

Makes sense to do it by geography for traveling fans to organize, but why religion?

This is officially recognized by the club by the way. They get to ballot for tickets, sit in the same official ecosystem as the geographic branches, and they have already extracted concrete changes at Old Trafford in the form of "multi-faith" prayer rooms, stadium-wide halal food, Iftar events on the premises, prayer mats supplied by the group, a curtain to separate men and women, and the Adhan played over stadium speakers.

I am not joking.

Football - LIKE MUSIC - offers a secular opportunity for transcendence, to come together under one badge.

Slice it up by sect or religion and you defeat the whole spirit of the game. The stadium is not religious infrastructure and what's happening in the name of inclusion is... exclusion.

What's happening at my beloved club is just a microcosm of what's happening to the UK on the national level.

My brave husband @adammaanit has just left to be volunteer security at our synagogue in Brighton. It is the holiest day of the Jewish year, Yom Kippur. Last year a crazed Islamist terrorist attacked a synagogue in Manchester and two Jews were killed.

As he left the house I said “I love you” with added layers of anxiety. The Jewish community shouldn’t have to deal with this. It’s shameful they do.

Labour has introduced an Islamic blasphemy law via the back door — and it is already having a chilling effect on free speech.

The “anti-Muslim hostility” definition, formerly known as Islamophobia, is being adopted by police forces, prosecutors, courts and the NHS, as well as private-sector organisations and charities.

It will make it even harder to discuss the fundamental challenges we face, like Islamist extremism, and national scandals such as the grooming gangs, with those who speak out fearful of being branded “Islamophobic”.

As Shadow Justice Secretary Nick Timothy says: “It’s a get-out-of-jail-free card for extremists.”

Not only did the Government appoint a working group whose five members had troubling links to Islamist organisations; it also deleted every response to the Working Group’s consultation. It is now almost certain that extremists were able to influence the drafting of the definition.

This is a major cover-up at the heart of government. Government departments are required to retain historical records of those who contributed to key consultations such as this for 20 years.

Angela Rayner has serious questions to answer. The British public deserves to know who drafted Labour’s Islamic blasphemy law.

🚨🇮🇹🇪🇺 Italy is FINALLY doing what the rest of Europe should have done YEARS ago...

Meloni announced that face coverings, including the burqa and niqab, will be BANNED in schools, and that foreign students will be capped per classroom.

Parents of children struggling to integrate will also be required to learn Italian.

Allowing large numbers of students who cannot speak the local language into the same class does not create integration; it creates parallel societies.

And integration isn't made easier with a face covering.

This should have been standard policy across Europe a DECADE ago...

Italy is simply enacting common sense.

It’s now clear Deliveroo's entire business model depends on sending dangerous men to people’s homes and funding them by enabling their illegal working.

An Algerian Deliveroo rider who was working for them illegally has been convicted of dragging a woman off the street and raping her for 17 minutes.

This is the latest horror in a long line of Deliveroo drivers attacking women.

Tesfagabriel Gebrzgabhir, an illegal boat migrant, pled guilty in 2023 to attempted rape and indecent exposure.

Muhammad Khan, a Deliveroo driver evading their pitiful 'identity checks' by account sharing, was convicted of brutally sexually assaulting a female customer.

She then tragically lost her unborn child.

Fuad Haddad, a Deliveroo rider, pled guilty to entering a female customer’s home and sexually assaulting her as she slept.

I announced the ‘Deliveroo Law’ last month to hold corporate bosses criminally liable for hiring illegals on a strict liability basis.

Deliveroo responded by claiming they "led the industry" in preventing illegal working.

I have written to Deliveroo's Board of Directors to demand answers as to why they keep hiring illegal migrants.

I also made crystal clear: 

Under a Reform government the CEO and the Board of Directors can expect to be prosecuted and jailed for their crimes.
