After 7 months, I'm leaving Facebook and moving back to here

For the past seven months, I poured an incredible amount of time into covering the Middle East conflicts. I followed events in real time, verified reports, and tried to build a space where facts and analysis came first.

Unfortunately
Facebook made that increasingly difficult.

My reach was repeatedly suppressed, my visibility kept dropping, and I ran into restriction after restriction. It eventually reached a point where I realized you simply can't build something meaningful on a platform that won't let people see your work.

So I've decided to turn the page.

I'm moving back to X, where I'll be focusing on what I enjoy most: the OSINT things, technology, Web3 and finances, innovation, geopolitics (when necessary), and broader social commentary.

I'm looking forward to spending less time fighting algorithms and more time creating useful content, sharing insights, and building meaningful conversations.

Mark has had 20+ years in getting a degree in some tech or science based field that could enhance his platform or perhaps change it in a revolutionary way.

Mark, also has had 20+ years in gathering and or fostering tech graduates or contractors into developing skills or research into fields that could enhance the platform.

Money truly doesn’t give you everything. I reckon next, meta will start becoming a hedge fund or private equity firm in the next decade. Dudes wasting money, time, and lives.

Zuckerberg is an adolescent mind that wasn't shaped by hardships of life. He got lucky early on, has not experience outside of Facebook, has not been tempered by having to ever work his way up the ladder that would warrant him having the responsibilities he has today.

I’ve seen of people using Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, and Gemini. But I have never once heard of someone using Meta AI.

Iran is not a country invented out of whole cloth. It is an established historic entity and culture that can trace its roots and (thus identity) to the Persian Empire.

Historical details and geographical boundaries will vary over time, but the ability for a current generation to find identity in the old, is a powerful common thread. It is the tap root for mental perseverance, emotional endurance and physical ability. The older the identity the easier for conflicting/competing persons within it to find common ground. Hence bombing campaigns usually unify the target populations, not break them.

All this being said is one of many reasons that Iran is able to see and pursue the long game. Once again the Hubris of the Western Elites is dragging the rest of west into another futile conflict.

Greed and Fear have triumphed agin over rational land strategic decision making - and the people who actually have to absorb it (American middle class) will end up paying for it in money and blood.

People often speak on not to refuse riding in an old Keke Napep, usually they remind us that the old Napep drivers too have families to feed.

I am always thinking about this when ever I see struggling Hustler in an old Napep and that's why I always enter any Keke Napep I see, no matter how old it is, as long as I am not in a big hurry.

But today, it was rained and that choice tested me 🥹

I entered an old Keke and we were moving slowly through the wetted road. Suddenly, I felt dirty gutter water splash all over my side.

I immediately look out the side to see who did it, but the road side was empty, meaning No other keke Napep there that has splashed me.

I was so upset, tbh.

The whole side of my white T-shirt was stained with dirty water. My trousers were black, so they were fine I use my handkerchief to wipe the dirt out, my shirt I can't.

I speak to the driver
"Driver, what happened?"

He then looked back and said he was very sorry.

He explained that the mudguard on that side of the tire had broken off two days ago, despite he knew about it but he forgot to fix it.

Inside my heart I asked myself why?
Despitefully, knowing we are in raining season.

I just sighed and said Okay.

To stay safe from more water splash, I asked the other passengers to shift inside a bit.

Luckily, we were all slim men and so we squeezed it together until one passenger dropped off, moment after the incident.

Finally, we reached where I will stop.

I come out and handed the driver his money.

To my surprise, Baba shook his head.
He said, No, I cannot collect your money.

I asked jim Why?

He said, How can I take your money after I ruined your clean clothes?.

I told him it was fine,
but he completely insisted and refused to accept the money.

Upon seeing this, I know he will not change his mind, so I decided to be quick.

Before he could stop me again, I put the money into the collar neck of his shirt and walked away quickly.

I find myself happier after this drama.

My brother, Sometimes the poorly among people we see have the richest integrity.

We should be patient always, show kindness and never lose our humanity.
