🚨 John Obi Mikel on Steven Gerrard in the conversation with Rio Ferdinand

🎙️ Rio: “Who was your toughest opponent in premier league?”

🗣️ John: “I’ve always said that my toughest opponent in the premier league was Stevie G. Remember when he started kind of playing as number 10 for Liverpool.”

🎙️ Rio: “Yea yeah with Torres. Torres yeah”

🗣️ John: “Yeah, with Torres. Oh my God! Quick, technically very good, strong, powerful. He can tackle as well. So, I mean you’re looking at No.10 who can tackle. Ah I know he didn’t play in that position for too long, but he was a guy you know that’s very very difficult to play against. And he knew how to find the space between you and the defenders. Uh yeah for me Stevie G, Stevie G was the guy!”

Every midfielder who played against Stevie G say the same thing - Stevie G was unplayable💪🏻

Repost would be appreciated 🔁

The captain converts a late treble ©️💫

#OnThisDay in 2010, Stevie G inspired off the bench with a second-half hat-trick against Napoli 👏

This tweet is a plea for help. Our school needs your support in any way to promote our sport/athletic program. Our school is struggling due to a lack of funding into our program and a lack of sporting equipment and infrastructure. Any support would be appreciated. #saveoursports
