🇱🇧 Israel’s Defense Minister publicly boasted that Israel had destroyed 24 Shi'ite villages in southern Lebanon. "We destroyed all the buildings, not house by house, no incrimination. All these villages have been completely destroyed, 15,000-20,000 homes.”

🔹Haaretz reports, citing Planet Labs imagery, that Israel has seized roughly 600 square kilometers (230 square miles) of southern Lebanon, extending as far as 12 kilometers inside the country, while razing villages and entrenching its military presence, similar to its actions in Gaza.

🔹Israeli forces have built at least 7 new bases and 32 kilometers of logistical roads across the occupied area, also seizing strategic positions such as Beaufort Castle and Christofani Ridge, and destroying the overwhelming majority of buildings in major population centers like Khiam and Maroun al-Ras.

🔹Defense minister Katz has declared that 200,000 Lebanese would not return home. A senior defense official described the objective as creating a “scorched earth mindset.”

🔹A senior officer said troops were ordered to prepare to remain for up to a year, while Defense Minister Katz instructed the military to build outposts “as if we would stay there for 50 years.”

Ceuta is a Spanish enclave in North Africa. It is not part of the Schengen Area, just as Ireland is not part of Schengen.

So the calls for Spain to be removed from Schengen over what happened in Ceuta make little sense.

The migrants who crossed into Ceuta during this one-day incident have already been returned to Morocco.

What deserves scrutiny is something else entirely: why are organisations and activists with strong backing from the US and Israel repeatedly facilitating or encouraging attempts to breach European borders? If the narrative is that Muslim migration poses a threat to Europe, why would the very same actors support actions that involve bringing thousands of predominantly Muslim migrants towards European territory?

Spain has been targeted deliberately for its strong solidarity with Palestine and opposition to Israeli war crimes.

We managed to enter the Israeli kill zone in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the West Bank.

This is the location of perhaps the most forgotten humanitarian catastrophe in Palestine. The residents were expelled by the IDF in January 2024, and have been unable to return since, making them refugees twice.

Nur Shams, Tulkarem and Jenin Refugee Camps are now essentially training grounds for the Israeli army, while they continue to terrorise the refugees in the nearby villages.

💢 🇵🇸 Three Palestinians were killed and several others wounded Wednesday in fresh Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, in continued violations of the ceasefire, according to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC).

🔹 One person was killed and three others wounded, one critically, when Israeli aircraft struck a group of Palestinians near the Palmira slaughterhouse in the al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.

🔹 Two people were killed and 12 wounded, one critically, in an Israeli drone strike in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, in the south.

🔸 One person was wounded by Israeli gunfire in the Tel al-Dahab area of Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

🔸Israeli forces also carried out a large demolition operation around the Abu Tammam School east of Beit Lahia, alongside widespread shooting, artillery shelling, and airstrikes reported across Gaza through the day.
