The worst kept secret in the world? Everyone is doing it, most people just aren't honest about it.
We all have a cheeky giggle when these stories break because we know the truth. From the highest offices to the quietest suburbs, people from all walks of life love to indulge in us or their kink/fetish in one way or another. And honestly, I will admit I think those big ol' knockers well suited him!
Now, I am not American, and I didn't even know this Noem fella existed until this hit the news and the X TL, but what has happened should serve as a massive reminder. Beneath the memes, we need to have a serious conversation about consent and discretion now more than ever. Especially with this news being in mainstream media, newbies will inevitably flock to our spaces to take either careless advantage or be inspired to start indulging without knowing how to even partake in safely.
Unfortunately, some people simply just don't care that very real lives exist outside of this world we have created for ourselves, and if these two worlds collide there can be very serious consequences. I for one am someone who would NEVER expose a person's identity or connection to the scene without consent. This isn't just a professional rule for me; it is deeply personal.
Almost 7 years ago now, I had an old friend in our community who served many of us in the Melbourne scene. He heartbreakingly decided to leave this earth because he was exposed without consent by another Domme who got her nose out of joint over something honestly so minor. Him being exposed led to his entire life falling apart. He lost everything and quite quickly himself too. He was a truly kind, caring guy and even while his wife knew, the moment the rest of his world did it was just too much to handle, understandably. That loss still hits me and so many others incredibly hard to this day. And that Domme (not that she even deserves the title) will have to live with his blood on her hands for the rest of her life.
So if you ever wondered where I stand, discretion is and always will be paramount in my practice. When I say your secrets are safe with me, I truly mean it. I care about my community, both submissive and Dominant, and I want you all safe and still here to play, whether you have been here forever or are starting today... Remember, we don't have this world unless we have each other.
Stay safe! 🤍
