Sins We Commit Without Realizing
Some sins slip quietly into our lives. No intention, no awareness, yet they are still recorded.
1. Negative assumptions about others (49:12)
Thinking badly without proof poisons the heart and harms relationships.
2. Misusing the tongue (50:18)
Every word is recorded. Lies, harsh speech, careless jokes all carry weight.
3. Backbiting (Ghibah) (49:12)
Talking about someone behind their back, even if it is true.
Allah compares it to eating the flesh of your dead brother. Yet it happens so easily in daily life: group chats, “venting” conversations, or gossip disguised as concern.
4. Neglecting or delaying Salah (19:59)
Not abandoning it completely, but treating it lightly or postponing it without a valid reason.
“Later.” “After this.” “I’m busy.”
Over time, salah loses its priority without us noticing.
5. Listening to music
Considered impermissible by many scholars. Constant noise can make remembrance of Allah feel heavier and slowly affect the heart.
6. Free mixing and casual flirting
Unnecessary private conversations, emotional attachment outside halal boundaries, and seeking validation from non-mahrams.
Islam protects the heart before bigger sins take root.
7. Showing off (Riyā) (107:6)
Doing good deeds for attention instead of sincerity. Even subtle intentions can quietly affect the heart.
8. Consuming wealth unjustly (2:188)
Taking what is not rightfully yours, even in small or unnoticed ways.
9. Wasting wealth and resources (17:27)
Excess, extravagance, and careless spending are disliked.
10. Being ungrateful (14:7)
Focusing on what is missing instead of what has been given.
11. Breaking promises (16:91)
Commitments matter, even the small ones.
12. Arrogance and pride (31:18)
Looking down on others or thinking too highly of oneself.
13. Treating sins as “small”
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said:
A believer sees his sins like a mountain above him, while a sinner sees them like a fly he brushes away.
A gentle reminder
Small sins do not remain small when repeated, and small good deeds do not remain small when done consistently.
The goal is not guilt, but awareness. In a world where haram is easy and halal takes effort, be careful of the sins that start to feel normal. Those are the ones that quietly distance the heart.
You’d pack bunch of stories about people’s sins and walk to Akhira with it, the sinners will walk past you and enter Jannah, not because they’ve done any better than you, but because you’ve gossiped about them and Allah has exchanged their sins with your good deeds.
Worth it?

Some things are bigger than football ❤️
Walahi, If anyone deserves the biggest apology, it's Prophet Muhammad. He would stand in prayer at night until his feet swelled, praying for us. Yet we neglect his teachings to the extent that some Muslim men have normalized cheating on their wives like it’s halal. Astaghfirullah
A single Gulma (Gossip) can erase your whole Umrah even if what you are saying is TRUE. If you are a Muslim, I highly recommend this very IMPORTANT & MIND FREEZING lecture by Sheikh Albani on “Gulma” and its ruling in islam. It is one of the most influential lecture you will come across in your life.

Everything women demand from a man costs money.
-Provision costs money.
-Protection costs money.
-Leadership costs money.
-Performance costs money.
Everything men ask from a woman costs nothing.
-Respect.
-Peace.
-Loyalty.
-Softness.
And somehow, what costs nothing is still called "too much" BY MODERN FEMINISTS. 🥺
