Today, I had the honor of taking the oath and being formally inducted into the;
1. Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) as a “Pupil Engineer”
2. Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) as a “Graduate Member”
Congratulations to me🎉🥳
There is no Abuja boy I have met that doesn’t have a project that has tied up his cash. Every single time! First few convos & they start yapping about expecting some payment in millions.
As a proper Kano babe, you’ll find that I broke pass you. One kobo you can’t scam from me.
Matashi talaka mutum ɗaya:

Fuel subsidy removal remains one of the most reckless economic decisions in Nigeria’s history. Fuel subsidy was practically the only privilege that directly and collectively benefited ordinary Nigerians, regardless of class.
There is actually a strong and weak class of degree.
A 2:2 below a CGPA of 3.0 out of 5.0 may not get you a direct MSc admission in some Nigerian Universities until you remedy it with a PGD.
Additionally, a 2:1 of less than 4.0 out of 5.0 may not enable you get some scholarship opportunities for MSc especially in foreign universities.
So higher point is very important even if you dont get the desired class of degree.
Don’t relent…
Access to cash is the reason bandits have enough to pay informants, pay for supplies and logistics including arms.
Digital transactions are easily tracked than cash ones.
Bandits were greatly suppressed and have suffered as much or even more than the general public. At least the general public can do transfers without fear of arrest unlike bandits.
I still maintain that cutting access to cash (through organized cashless policy) by bandits is the most realistic first step in addressing kidnappings.
“In takuunu ta’alamuuna Fa’innahum Ya’alamuuna Kama Ta’alamuun”
Cashless policy remains the most effective policy that almost eradicated banditry. It blocked the greatest enabler which is cash from getting to the bandits.
There was obvious and appreciable decline in kidnappings during that time.
I stand to be corrected.
