When this is allowed to happen, the social contract has been broken. We’re told “work hard and you’ll reap it back.” We work hard all our lives and this is our future? To be abused in some care home by thick sociopaths because we’re no longer of any use to the state? FUCK THAT.
Teachers & SNAs don't forget we offer free guides for Primary and Secondary staff & a pilot project offering free in person or online training for staff of Post Primary schools with incoming VI/blind students #edchatie@simonmlewis@MuinteoirCDoyle@muinteoirdearv@lindaosull88
@olaoinsigh Bryan I love Notebook LM. I feel like it makes everything so accessible. You’re the only other person I’ve heard talk about it. My class absolutely adore it too.
It should be a prerequisite that anyone nominated for the position of Ceann Comhairle must be a Gaeilgeoir.
It is still ludicrous to me that Verona Murphy was allowed to run for the position with absolutely no understanding of the state’s first official language.
@rtenews Kids need more than a chair at a table. There are people detached from the reality of these kids and their families who’ll slap themselves on the back when that’s all a kid gets. Where are the therapeutic and practical supports and crucially where are the staff coming from?
Becoming Ceann Comhairle should be no different to becoming a teacher. You should be required to spend two weeks below in the Gaeltacht drinking cans, end of story.
I met Elaine as a parent in the school I teach in. Elaine is kind, thoughtful and a super mammy to her super girls.. An absolute warrior, she needs our help to get over the line. Every little helps 💕
