@SSPTFCSGR ... Public transport should not be allowed through Maharaja Bazar street market in city centre. It will damage street infrastructure developed by Srinagar smart city Ltd. It will go against what was designed by the smart city.

The Srinagar Smart City (@sclsrinagar) project has been marred by allegations of scams, with daily press releases revealing new discoveries of corruption by the investigative agencies. While discrepancies have been highlighted by investigating agencies, it's unfair to tarnish the entire project's reputation.

We were all shocked and delighted by the transformation of areas like Poloview, Ghanta Ghar, Rajbagh, Zero Bridge, and Nishat etc, which were once in a state of disrepair. These developments not only improved the aesthetic appeal of these locations but also enhanced the overall quality of life for residents. Many people appreciated the work done by SSCL and even requested similar transformations in their areas.

It's true that some irregularities may have occurred, and it's essential to address these concerns. However, labeling the entire project a scam is unjustified. There may have been some thefts or mismanagement, but it's wrong to generalize that the whole project was a scam. A balanced approach is necessary to address the concerns without discrediting the project's achievements.

While Srinagar Smart City (@sclsrinagar) is under scrutiny, let’s not forget Poloview, Rajbagh riverfront, Foreshore cycle track with footpath, Nishat market, Shalimar lake front, Maharajgunj, Malaratta, Lal Chowk & Ghanta Ghar didn’t magically glow up overnight.

It’s the vision, planning, blood, sweat, hard work and sleepless nights of all—our labor, architects, planners, indirect vendors, entrepreneurs, contractors, and officials.

Sure-some ‘creative accounting’ might’ve happened but let’s not let a few potholes of corruption overshadow the smoother roads of progress.

And please—let’s not hear the word ‘corruption’ from corrupt dynasts who conspired for dacoity got none and are now crying foul—the same folks who kept the city underdeveloped and swindled entire funds into their pockets for decades.
