We rebuilt how card trading works.

The current experience is broken. You scroll through chaotic Discord channels, hope someone sees your offer, DM back and forth only to find out they don't even want your cards. It wastes your time and kills the fun of collecting.

So we built a Swipe interface to fix it.

How it works:

✦ Our algorithm serves you a clean feed of cards
✦ You only see cards from traders who want what you have and have what you need
✦ Swipe left to pass. Swipe right when you see a match.

At Pokémon EUIC in London, Chris Brown, Pokémon's Director of Global Esports & Events, was asked about the future of competitive TCG Pocket.

His answer:
"With Pocket, what feels great for us right now is the Side Events, a casual way for people to meet up. There are no plans for it to be a main title."

No competitive scene. No ranked system. No esports. Just "a casual way for people to meet up."

Let that sit for a moment.

This is a game with 150M+ downloads. $1.3B+ in revenue. 2 billion battles played. The most successful mobile TCG launch in history. And the official position is: keep it casual.

Meanwhile, last weekend, 1,172 players from 45+ countries competed in a PGL tournament for $1,500 in prizes. 3,338 matches played in 2 days.
