1️⃣ Section 74 | FY 2020-21
SCN issue की last date: 31 August 2026

2️⃣ Section 73 | FY 2022-23
SCN issue की last date: 30 September 2026

⚠️ Department द्वारा कई DRC-01A (Pre-SCN) में 30 दिन से कम का समय दिया जा रहा है, ताकि DRC-01 limitation से पहले issue किया जा सके।

👉 अगर आपको भी DRC-01A मिला है और उसमें 30 दिन से कम का समय दिया गया है, तो Reply में यह objection जरूर mention करें कि:

“The time provided for submission of reply to DRC-01A is less than the prescribed/standard time.”

आज objection record करना, आगे litigation में आपके लिए महत्वपूर्ण हो सकता है।

CBDT has notified the Foreign Assets of Small Taxpayers – Disclosure Scheme Rules, 2026.

📌 Effective: 16 Aug 2026
📌 Valuation Date: 31 Mar 2026
📌 Last Date: 31 Dec 2026

Key thresholds:

🔹 Undisclosed foreign assets + foreign income ≤ ₹1 Cr
➡️ Amount payable = 60% of value
(30% Tax + 100% Penalty on tax)

🔹 Specified undisclosed foreign assets ≤ ₹5 Cr
➡️ ₹1 lakh fee

📝 Declaration through Form 1 electronically.

This could be a significant compliance opportunity for taxpayers having small-value undisclosed foreign assets/income.
