@AnjaliMHR's Sexuality and Mental Health Institute (SAMHI) ran its 4th edition this year and I was selected to be part of this 'mad' cohort. It was a week of intense discussions and reflections about all things #sexuality and #mentalhealth

The role of biomedicine and law in framing this discourse, marginalization, ideas of consent and pleasure politics, mad and queer studies, models of disability, UN CRPD and the Mental Healthcare Act in India, and arts-based practices in mental health among other topics discussed!

My studentship allows me to now work with the @TISSpeak team and undertake my #PhD fieldwork in 🇮🇳! A huge shout-out to @AKapilashrami for making #globalpublichealth truly 🌍 and for being such an incredibly supportive supervisor! So excited for the next leg of this journey🤩
