We, as a society, lack civic sense in our spoken discourse as well. Cuss words flow freely from the lawmakers to the lawbreakers; nobody can claim a higher moral ground as everyone is guilty of amplifying unparliamentary language some time or the other.
Different schools of thoughts pertaining to the repercussions over the barrage of disdainful expletive laden rants at the recent protests;
heat of the moment, a rampant mob egging those on who dished choicest invective with flourish; now, facing consequences - deservedly or not
This is how a "high trust society" functions. I am in Killarney, Ireland.
There is a fridge full of beer with a note that has the prices and a box to pay.
My Indian brain is blown to bits.
To wage an unnecessary war - to achieve incoherent, constantly morphing objectives, to inflict catastrophic damage of life and limb across the region; to shock and disrupt the global energy economy severely; to be worse off at the negotiating table than before... bewildering.
It is laughable how creative malfeasance equates a semi-fictional patriotic blockbuster with current affairs in a disparaging manner so as to paint the very nation that they inhabit, as an abject failure.
Political hostilities shouldn't invade national consciousness.
Proxy nations do the bidding of their masters lest it should threaten their very survival! Theocracies bond over ingrained trust which cannot be replicated by the top echelons of diplomacy...
Problems aplenty with the current dispensation, not brokering the ceasefire, ain't it.
Amidst the #ceasefire, (seemingly) brokered by our nefarious neighbour; some lesser minds are chiding our foreign policy doctrine for not playing a pivotal role in negotiating peace between the warring factions...
It wasn't our imbroglio to get embroiled in the first place!
There should be an audit of MoUs, announcements and promises made at such investment summits. Everything is for aggrandised optics and on-ground reality paints a dismal and despondent picture. If the Govt of MH was really serious about development of Nagpur and Vidarbha as an Economic Hub, they’d have fast-tracked the handover of NAG airport from AAI-MIL-MADC to GMR in earnest and done something worthwhile about job creation and attracting multinationals in MIHAN. Just concretising tar roads and building flyovers everywhere doesn’t equal development. Precious little has been done to stop the brain drain from Nagpur and it has become an expensive and glorified retirement city.
Rolling back and watering down the FDTL provisions which were put in place to manage and alleviate pilot fatigue to assuage @IndiGo6E's mismanagement and myopic planning is rewarding corporate greed and machiavellian arm-twisting on the part of its corporate stakeholders.
Anticipating an impending relaxation or postponement of the FDTL norms - Pieter Elbers and his ilk, didn't augment capacity and provision adequate crew availability in conformance with the revised mandates.
This was a planned unravelling; a catastrophic showcase to indicate that crew and their well-being come second; maximising employee efficiency and profits are paramount - consumers be damned!
@MoCA_GoI and @DGCAIndia shouldn't have acceded to 6E's mayday call; primarily because they shot themselves in the foot and blamed everybody else.
One might hope that the relaxations offered are contingent and time-bound but once normalcy returns; these exceptions might well have become the old norm!
The more things change, the more they remain the same. #IndiGoCrisis
Which "flexibility" were the McLaren Team touting while pacifying their angsty driver on the radio?
One which entailed handing over the reins of the race to their nemesis without him and the field having to do as much as blink an eyelid?!
This is brain fade of the highest magnitude at the worst possible juncture for a driver (#81) admittedly having his best race of the season...
Sabotaging a race with a wretched strategy does irreparable harm to the psyche of these athletes; even ones who have multiple WDCs in their kitty; #44 and #Scuderia come to mind...
Considering the Qatar GP was a mandatory 2 stop race with the 25 lap tyre change diktat in place; Did the Papayas run any race simulations counting in the possibility of a SC or VSC or did they purposely bottled and bungled their plans for wanting to appear non-partisan and fair?!
Even the 2nd Pit Stop was strategised by Piastri on-the-fly for having a shy at the race lead because pitting any later would have meant that he wouldn't even finish P2!
It is almost as if the McLaren F1 Team is content having secured the constructor's championship and couldn't care less about who wins the WDC; as is evident from the tonality of the interviews given by ZB and Stella.
For Piastri's sake, I hope he is saved the blushes in Abu Dhabi and can summon one last bit of confidence boost, riding on his performance ascension in Qatar for a deserving finish in WDC 2025.
Everyone wants to gain reach by reposting viral content; Nobody wants to go through the rigamarole of crediting the content creator.
Seen most recently in the Raulane-Kalpa Festival imagery - shot by a select few; shared by everybody as their own. #SorryStateOfAffairs
Political bootlickers masquerading as SJWs are waiting for any opportunity to victimise themselves as the downtrodden by harping on anything they deem offensive when the myriad issues plaguing the society are deemed kosher and not worth raising any hullabaloo for.
@sandeep_PT Cherry-picking of the flimsiest order! When there's nothing to denigrate about an individual; resort to ad hominem attacks by latching on to colloquial vernacular and brandish your own casteist mentality while doing so! PATHETIC AND DEPLORABLE!

This stunning shot by @mukundrkedia beautifully captures the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team in perfect formation, their precision trails painting the sky. What makes this frame truly remarkable is the civil airliner soaring above!
Rock pigeon numbers have burgeoned due to overfeeding and misplaced charity. They are disease carriers, and their droppings are a grave health hazard. They can fend for themselves and aren't dependent on human largesse; Let natural selection run its course.

Subject: Request for Consideration on the Issue of Pigeon Feeding in Mumbai
Respected Sir,
I write to you to express a growing concern regarding the issue of pigeon feeding in Mumbai, which has gained significant attention over the past month. If not addressed thoughtfully, this matter may have wider implications across the country.
It is understood that the Hon’ble Court has taken note of certain health-related concerns associated with pigeon feeding, and indeed, there have been reports of human health being adversely impacted in specific instances.
However, following the decision to restrict pigeon feeding, there have also been numerous instances of pigeons suffering from starvation. This has resulted in pigeons dying on the roads, thereby creating another public health hazard and raising further concerns from animal welfare groups and citizens alike.
In this context, and with all respect to the judiciary, I would like to respectfully present the concerns shared by Sadhus, animal lovers, and other concerned citizens for your kind consideration:
1. Is pigeon feeding the sole cause of the related health issues, or is environmental pollution a larger contributing factor?
2.Was it appropriate for the MCGM to abruptly halt a long-standing cultural and religious practice of animal feeding, without initiating dialogue with concerned stakeholders to explore viable alternatives?
3.Are there any alternative arrangements being planned for regulated pigeon feeding, or will the restrictions remain absolute?
4.Can a committee of experts be constituted under the supervision of the Hon’ble Court to evaluate the matter comprehensively and suggest sustainable, long-term solutions?
5. In the interim, can designated open spaces such as BKC, Racecourse, Aarey Colony, or Sanjay Gandhi National Park be identified as temporary zones for safe and supervised pigeon feeding?
I am confident that MCGM, as a responsible civic body, will strive to find a balanced and humane solution — one that ensures public health and safety while also safeguarding the lives and wellbeing of birds.
Your urgent attention and a thoughtful resolution to this issue will be deeply appreciated by all concerned citizens.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Mangal Prabhat Lodha

Catastrophes such as the #PlaneCrashInAhmedabad have muddled the already despicable discourse on social media, with all and sundry vociferously engaging in harvesting impressions by rage-baiting, spreading propaganda, ad nauseam speculating, and hurling abuses willy-nilly!
