There's a profound constitutional and legal irony in AfriForum flying to Washington to invite foreign economic pressure against their own government. Under public international law and South Africa's constitutional framework, seeking external state intervention to override domestic legislation is the definition of undermining state sovereignty.
Kallie wants to frame this as looking out for South Africa's economic interests, but treating a foreign superpower's unilateral threats as legitimate leverage against your own country's laws is clientelism. It signals that certain domestic interest groups would rather see South Africa economically punished by an external hegemon than accept the democratic outcomes of constitutional redress.
While the ANC government certainly bears criticism for its economic failures, shifting blame away from U.S. coercion and pointing the finger solely at Pretoria—while acting as a domestic lobby group for foreign pressure is an abdication of national loyalty. True patriotism means holding your government accountable at home, not acting as a local conduit for foreign interference.
@Justin15750619@GillianSchutte1 I thought the alleged high White IQ would correspond with better comprehension. The author specifically says “72% of farms and agricultural holdings.”
Dear white farmers.
I have never publicly claimed to hate you and actively call for your death. I do not celebrate the murder of anybody, despite the determination of some among you to pretend that this is what I am saying.
What I am insisting you do is look at South Africa from the other side of the fence.
Perhaps that is what you fear the most.
White individuals still hold 72% of farms and agricultural holdings registered to individual owners. African individuals hold 4%.
That did not happen naturally. It comes with a bloody history of the death and destruction of African bodies and livelihoods.
It is the history of conquest. The 1913 Land Act. Forced removals. Racially engineered ownership. Generations of African dispossession.
Africans were confined first to roughly 7% of the land, later 13%, in the country of their ancestors.
That is the mass usurpation you will not admit to.
You cannot inherit the material outcome of that history, preserve its extraordinary imbalance into the present, and then demand that those left landless regard the arrangement as normal.
Stop turning every murder committed on a farm into the murder of a white farmer.
Look at the official January-March 2025 figures.
Six people were murdered on commercial farms.
Five were African.
One was white.
Both murdered farm owners were African.
The single white victim was a farm dweller.
That does not make the white victim less, as you insist.
What it does expose is the political sleight of hand that transforms the phrase “farm murder” into “white farmer murder” and then exports that distortion around the world as evidence of racial persecution.
So yes, speak about rural violence. Demand policing, prosecutions and safety for your families.
But demand it for ALL families, including Black farmers and all farmworkers.
Do not elevate white death above Black death.
And have the courage to speak about the land beneath your feet as well.
Ask who it once belonged to.
Study how that how ownership changed.
Be honest about who was expelled from their own land.
Look at who works it for a pittance today.
Reflect on how whites accumulated wealth from it while generations of Africans were denied the ability to accumulate anything at all.
You cannot demand that South Africa remember the murder of a white farmer while commanding it to forget the dispossession of a people.
If you want peace, then the land question has to be resolved.
Restitution. Redistribution. Secure tenure.
And yes - you could have begun this decades back by giving back arable land held far beyond what is actually farmed or needed for private productive agriculture. Stop treating every hectare accumulated through generations of racial privilege as though history placed it in your hands by divine right.
You keep saying that land redistribution requires your blood. That is a declaration of war from you.
If you genuinely believe that any meaningful redistribution of land constitutes persecution, if equality feels like an existential attack, and if coexistence is acceptable only while the old ownership patterns remain intact, then perhaps you need to ask yourself what exactly you mean when you say this country is yours.
South Africa cannot be held hostage to the proposition that historical privilege must remain untouched in order for there to be peace.
You cannot retain the fruits of dispossession indefinitely and then demand gratitude from the dispossessed.
You call restitution hatred, redistribution genocide and the continuation of a grotesquely unequal land settlement, peace.
Peace without justice is simply the preservation of the old arrangement.
And in South Africa, justice still has land written all over it.
International relations and co-operation minister Ronald Lamola says US ambassador Leo Brent Bozell III must “get out of the kitchen” if he no longer believes in diplomatic engagements with Pretoria https://t.co/9emqUwRQCX
Britain has invaded 171 countries.
France has killed 22 African President's since 1963.
The US runs more than 750 military base in 80 nations.
And you are worried about Russia?
😂😂😂
Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband: 'I want to say to the millions of people in this country and indeed elsewhere, who have been moved and outraged by the plight of the Palestinian people. We hear you. You were right'

Well, there is a court finding. In February 2025, a court ruled that claims of white genocide in South Africa are “clearly imagined and not real,” designed to fuel racial division and justify extremist ideology. How’s them apples?

What exactly has Iran done that is so unforgivable?
Did it invade continents?
Colonize half the earth?
Drop atomic bombs on civilians?
Build military bases around the globe?
Topple the governments?
Starve nations with sanctions?
NO.
It's US who did this all!
The situation between Iran and the US has now become so funny to me
The US is saying you should NOT have nuclear weapons
Iran is saying We DON'T want to have nuclear weapons
We are fighting over something that never existed in the first place and both countries can't reach an agreement on something that Iran doesn't have 😂
The richest 10% of people hold 75% of the world's wealth. The poorest half hold 2%.
At #UNGA81, South Africa 🇿🇦 said this gap can & should be closed & called for an International Panel on Inequality & permanent seats for Africa on the Security Council.

You know what is VERY funny about AfriForum, Solidarity, Common Sense and all their friends in Hermanus, Cape Town and North of Glenhove? They are excitable and analyzing @RonaldLamola 's UNGA activities in isolation. You would need to listen to ALL the speeches from today's session to understand the geopolitical posturing on the US. You have to REALLY hear what Heads of State, Prime Ministers, Presidents, are saying from the UN podium. South Africa's position at #UNGA81 must be seen in the context of the global push back against US Foreign Policy. From the EU, to South America, Asia to the Middle East, it is ubiquitous. South Africa's messaging and tone are not out of step with everyone else's. Only the domestic "baases" want RSA to say "yes baas" on the Global stage. The storm will be weathered. Stay steady. You don't bow down to a president with a record low of below 32%. You flex. You speak to allies. You renew your engagement strategy. The verkramptes at home will soon learn.
@USAmbRSA@BrentBozell
You recently threw a fit because South Africa's Deputy President went on a working visit to China. Yesterday Trump welcomed Xi Jinping on the tarmac and the White House put on an unusually large military display. It is a state visit nogal!
Your president went personally, with all honors to receive Xi Jinping. Something that Xi Jinping didn't do for him when he was visiting!
In addition; Trump has invited Putin to the G20, much to the consternation of US allies.
Do you have anything to say. I guess not. You are a bully and a hypocrite. The Unipolar moment is over. Your own country has been instrumental in undoing it. There is no turning back. Nobody is prepared to listen to bullies on the global stage.
Governments come and go. After all it was British state policy that Mandela was “nothing but a common terrorist”. I saw Mrs Thatcher declare it. Today it’s Palestine, Russia, China… These things will pass. And then, like Mandela, everyone will claim always to have been like us.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian:
Atomic and nuclear bombs are in the hands of the Israeli regime, but the inspectors are requested to come to Iran.
Israel has murdered savagely over 70,000 innocents in Gaza, but Iran, while behind the table of negotiation, was bombed.
Israel has the bombs, has weapons of mass destruction, is not a member of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, during her shameful life has not allowed a single inspection, but they are rewarded by all the means necessary for them to be able to bomb any capital in the region at will.
