People on the internet are strange! I haven’t streamed in 3 years… partly because a couple of people in my streams made me uncomfortable. Overstepping boundaries and having a weird parasocial vibe. I wasn’t confident back then to say stop so ending up walking away from stream…

I think so, just a lot of coincidence. They asked me if I still speak to you.. then mentioned a previous community member then said they used to be a lurker so they couldn’t remember but they knew

I feel like there’s probably loads more I could say on it but it’s just made me realise that I just don’t think twitch is for me which is sad because I love being in other peoples communities and watching people stream the games I love.

I now don’t want to stream again because I just find it weird that people have this para social relationship and think that they are your best friend when I don’t know you. I really like meeting people and chatting and playing games, but there is a line

A different streamer that I watch as well as the person who make me feel uncomfortable they then followed me. They knew my name and it was just very suspicious as if it was this person on a new account it’s been three years you were banned on your last account

Fast forward to yesterday where I did my first stream in three years and I had a first time chat and the account was created 38 minutes before their first chat and quite early on into me starting the stream. This person claims they were a lurker back in the day and asked me..

Yesterday was my last day at a job that landed me in therapy and taking antidepressants. The emotions I feel are so strong. I’m hoping this next chapter is the one I need to recover 😭

I have been so unmotivated to play @DisneyDLV recently as since the last update it is CONSTANTLY raining in my game. Every time I open, rain! And a lot of the time it’s the stormy rain. It didn’t happen as often before the update and now it’s just too much!
