A Sierra Leone High Court sitting in Freetown, has sentenced a South African woman to 130 year in Prison for attempt to traffic drugs from Sierra Leone.
Honourable Justice Andrew S.C. Johnson found the defendant, Asandra Denise, a resident of the Eastern Cape, guilty on a five-count drug indictment.
According to court records, 37 year old Denise, a resident of Nenvonds in South Africaβs Eastern Cape Province, was arrested at Freetown International Airport in Lungi after security operatives discovered her in possession of 365 pellets of compressed cocaine weighing approximately 5.4 kilograms.
