Iran has struck U.S. bases in Jordan four times over five days, wounding dozens of American troops and damaging multiple Black Hawk helicopters, per the NYT.

The deadliest hit came Friday at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Azraq, killing two U.S. soldiers, leaving one missing, and injuring four. The same base was struck two days earlier, wounding about 20.

U.S. officials say the attacks demonstrate Iran's growing ability to overwhelm or evade American air defenses.
