@GuardsJoey In the grand scheme of things this home run probably did more to hurt the Guardians than help them. The only reason Jhonkensy Noel is still on a major league roster
@fast_lane_brad@xELREYKILOx@seltzer42@SaladinoWRLD Still had a higher OPS away than at Yankee stadium but even if he didn’t finding one player to fit your narrative does not not negate an entire leagues worth of evidence that shows Yankee stadium does not improve a players numbers
@TridentHawk420@SDCCThrowaway@minakimes While impressive, I’m not sure getting hit by a pitch and then having a multi-homer game qualifies you to win a league MVP
One player does not make up for the entire league hitting the exact same outside of the stadium then at it. Jazz has better numbers at Yankee Stadium this year but last year his OPS was .100 points higher outside Yankee stadium. Aaron Judge this year also has an OPS .100 points higher outside the stadium than at it. If you want to go blow for blow I can name way more players that perform better outside the stadium than at it
Trent Grishams OPS is .206 points higher outside of Yankee stadium than it is at home. Even if it wasn’t finding 2 players to fit your narrative isn’t a convincing argument. Statcast can track the park factor of how effective Yankee stadium is at improving a players numbers and it shows that players hit just as well away from Yankee stadium than at it
@seltzer42@SaladinoWRLD Funny because when players get traded to or signed by the Yankees, their OPS’ do not increase by even .026 points let alone .260
