The dismantling of state capture is already beginning today.

In his victory speech, Péter Magyar called for the resignation of
– Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary
– the President of the Constitutional Court
– the President of Hungary’s Supreme Court (the Curia)
– the Prosecutor General
– the President of the State Audit Office
– the President of the National Competition Authority
and other captured state institutions.

Magyar reiterated that joining the European Public Prosecutor's Office and restoring Hungary as a constructive partner in Europe will remain top priorities for his government.
In response, Hungarian citizens gathered at Batthyány tér, across the Danube from Parliament, chanting: “Europe, Europe, Europe.”

As an undergrad at Leeds in the 80s, I could find only these and a few others: Fejto (1971) Harman (1983), and Irving (1981). Neil Ascheron’s book The Polish August (1981) gripped me too.
