It’s a sign of the shameless times that a minister who presided over a disaster that threatened to blight the lives of thousands of young people whose educational careers are in his hands - and only addressed that when it became politically necessary - feels he shouldn’t resign.
Keir Starmer is classier, sharper, more thoughtful, better briefed, more considered, more mature, has better instincts, is cannier, more talented, more composed and more Prime Ministerial than Boris Johnson.
Trump had a bad night in Tulsa. Very low turnout. Even his supporters know that COVID-19 is real and dangerous, and should not be spread at an indoor rally. More importantly, maybe people are catching on that he is a pathological liar and a fraud. Let's keep fighting.
@ntldr2020@SandmanAssassin@Shem_Infinite@catturd2 Yeah you can. Especially when “millions” of people were supposedly attending 😂. Is Trump pulling out his “alternative facts” again?
If someone states something that later turns out to be not true, you should call them out no?

Labour isn’t talking about Churchill’s statue. The Lib Dems aren’t taking about it. The Greens aren’t talking about it. The only party talking about Churchill’s statue are the Conservatives. It’s bizarre. They want a culture war because they want to distract from the real issues.
#ihatejohnsonbecause he condemns people who loot electronics, but protects statues of people who loot people... oh, and he’s a bigoted, entitled liar, who is destroying our country with his absolute ineptitude.
The people arguing that hungry British children should be denied help in the school holidays seem to be *exactly the same people* that argue we should 'help our own' instead of sending money to countries suffering from famine.
I'm beginning to think they're not very honest.
There’s something rather significant about Boris Johnson speaking up for statues of dead white supremacists while Marcus Rashford speaks up for 1.3 million hungry British children of every creed & colour.
The crippling fear of those white men that equality for all means less for them is a blatant confession that the current system is unfair. They’ve demonstrated perfectly why we need drastic change and how important it is to reject the world they want to live in.
