Multan, one of the oldest living cities in the world, carries more than 5,000 years of history, culture, spirituality and resilience. From ancient civilizations to today’s vibrant heart of South Punjab, the City of Saints remains a symbol of pride and continuity.
Delighted to visit #Multan – the ‘City of Shrines’. The shrine of Shah Yusuf Gardezi is a spectacular example of the blue and white tile work that Multan is famous for. Stunning and very tranquil – I could have sat here for hours!
Constructed over the ruins of Haveli of Ahmad Khan Sadozai which was completely destroyed during Siege of Multan, Ghanta Ghar was built in 1884 A.D. during British Raj in British India. Still standing tall after 136 years in the center of Multan city.
