The Special Olympics Oregon Polar Plunge was an absolute blast! 🏅💙 Our MCSO team ran the 5K and then braved the cold water, all to support incredible athletes in the state. The energy was palpable, the costumes were fun, and the impact was so worth the chill! @SOORstate

The Special Olympics Oregon Polar Plunge event kicked off today at Willamette Park! The Polar Plunge supports more than 5,000 Special Olympics athletes in Oregon. Including Deputy Sheriff Nafie recognized with Deputy of the Year, Sergeant Scott recognized with Jail Supervisor of the Year, our Dangerous Drugs Team recognized with a Distinguished Service Award, and Corrections Deputy Stidum recognized with the Leupold Community Hero Award.
