A Deadstorm Pirates sitdown cabinet at Hampton Beach, NH. Excellent mounted turret shooter.
Love the steering wheel feature and how the game encourages teamwork in multiplayer. I still need more time on the sequel, Goldstorm Pirates. #arcade#retro
Would love to see Magician return in a future House of the Dead sequel. It was cool getting to fight him in 4 Special.
I found him harder in 4SP's arcade version; the ride vehicle shifted and spun constantly, throwing off your aim. #arcade#retro
Lethal Enforcers 3 (Seigi no Hero) used to be at my local Round 1 years ago. Neat game that wasn't ported to consoles.
Its graphics and cover mechanic are like Police 911 and Warzaid. You can also race against the other player, trying to clear levels quickly. #arcade#retro
Loved Sega's huge sit-down light gun cabinets for games like House of the Dead 2 and Jurassic Park.
Found a HOD2 super deluxe at Old Orchard Beach in Maine three years ago. It was exciting getting to play it! #arcade#retro
Crisis Zone deluxe cabinet at a Massachusetts arcade years ago. Sadly this place is closed.
Still my favorite machine gun game. So satisfying gunning down enemies, destroying the scenery, and racking up combos. #arcade#retro
Got to play Zombie Revenge at Prince Arcades. Cool beat 'em up with many House of the Dead references.
The characters are unique, the shooting mechanics are interesting, and the voice acting's hilarious. #sega#retro
Ran into Sports Shooting USA at Prince Arcades. It has cool scope guns with laser sights, and lots of accuracy-based mini-games.
Didn't have time to play it... honestly got distracted by the Ninja Baseball Batman cabinet next to it. #arcade#retro
Felt odd playing House of the Dead III on an Aliens: Extermination cabinet at Prince Arcades. Used mounted guns instead of wired shotguns.
The game was also a modded version of the PC port. The guns had more ammo and different sound effects. #arcade#retro
Was cool to see The Maze of the Kings at Prince Arcades. Played this a lot at Chuck E. Cheese's growing up.
Unique game... has selectable items and RNG branching paths. Shame it was never ported. #arcade#retro
Point Blank 2 at Prince Arcades. The Point Blank series is excellent. Really tests your accuracy, reaction time, and firing speed... perfect for those wanting to hone their light gun skills. #arcade#retro
(Flash warning) Konami M2 MAME emulation was greatly improved thanks to an unofficial fork. M2 games like Evil Night are playable at full speed. Exciting stuff! #arcade#retro
