This time we had the challenge of replicating the BBC One satellite channel on a SkyQ unit, taking the remote control signals from the lounge back to our control hide (a neighbours garage!) to control the transport and add appropriate Sky graphics on top of the playback.
You may have caught our logo indent on this weeks episode of Michael McIntyre's Big Show! We again provided the show with our 'TV hacking' skills to ensure only hit Ruth saw the specially made version of Olly Murs 'Who Do You Think You Are'.
As we are winding down for Christmas, it’s the perfect time to look back on a fantastic 2024! Thanks to all our clients, suppliers, engineers, staff, families, pets and to every cup of coffee that’s fuelled us. Looking forward to doing it all over again next year! Cheers!
Back in November we supplied a 50 belt pack @RIEDELnet Bolero system to long-term client @OuternetGlobal for this epic 2 day @RevolutApp event, featuring a headline performance from @charli_xcx. Connecting up both broadcast and event teams across the whole venue.
We supplied show comms equipment for the rugby league two-match international ABK Series between England and Samoa for sports presentation producer @timetoelev8. The system was designed around @rtsintercoms wired and @RIEDELnet wireless to connect people across the 2 stadiums.
Big thanks to @EVENT360_Sport for bringing us onboard, our RF supplier @CreativeTechnol, our logistics partner Hyperdrop and all the freelance engineers who helped us make these events fantastic.
Last weekend saw the final match of 15 at Wembley this year, working providing show comms for long term client @EVENT360_Sport. Matches included the prestigious Carabou and FA Cup finals as well as several England home friendly matches for both the mens and womens football teams.
For larger matches we also supplied a 20 beltpack stadium wide @RIEDELnet Bolero system using the same network and our new Fibre POE boxes, which allow a single core of fibre to be converted to copper with POE for powering @RIEDELnet Bolero antennas or @rtsintercoms beltpacks.
Huge thanks to the @RoyalAlbertHall technical team for bringing us onboard, our onsite engineers Tom Mann and Sam Mannis, our supportive suppliers @CreativeTechnol and Plus4 Audio and most importantly all of the nights winners! Especially @adamfishersound for Best Sound Design!
Challenges for technical lead Ian Threlfall included providing wireless Bolero coverage all the way from the bottom of the stairs outside the hall right through the building for Tom Francis performance from the nights big awards winner Sunset Boulevard.
At the weekend we were honoured to be asked by the iconic @RoyalAlbertHall to provide the show talkback solution for this years @OlivierAwards. Supplying an @RIEDELnet matrix sitting on a backbone of our @NETGEAR AV Line switches, including links to OB provider @Timeline_TV
The technical lead for us was @ianthrelfall. Our on site team was Tom Mann, @sammannis, Olly Steel and Chris Moore. We'd like to thank @FluxBroadcast for trusting us with the event again and all of our great suppliers in @CreativeTechnol, @AutographLondon and Plus4 Audio.
We were thrilled to be invited back to London Excel by @FluxBroadcast to deliver another Pokemon EUIC. Supplying 170 ports of @rtsintercoms and audio networking for all 4 galleries via a backbone of @NETGEAR_UKI AV line switches including our new M4350 12X12F core.
