Alters can't decide who will front for the next month(s), but the 4 of us mains are always in communication unless taking a break in the back of the brain hole.

So our system, as we've PAINFULLY SLOWLY come to realize is as follows:
I. A week or two of dissociating, we assume we are the last person known to be out.
II. Switch is finally completed, new fronting alter recognizes themselves being a part of the past two weeks. cont-

III. Now-fronting alter settles into themselves for a week.
IV. Migraine.
V. Now-fronting alter stays out for about a month or two until the next dissociation.
