I've been to the cinema a few times recently and I've got plans to go many more times in the next year while I'm in walking distance. I figured I might do a tweet chain to have a record of all of the films I see.

Let's begin!

Caught Oppenheimer again yesterday. Still blown away by it. Particularly impressed by Blunt's performance second time around. Again, adore the visual style and how cut-aways are edited into conversations. Front on cinematography of faces is sublime and add so much emotion!

10/10

Forgot to add in Barbie yesterday (Barbenheimer day was amazing!). Barbie is great! It's consistently funny and certainly not lacking in commentaries, most of which land very well. Overall its just such a fun film, it's impossible to not smile and laugh though it!

9/10

I'm on the new one, last new one I'm going to make though! Love to carry some mutual across

I'll enjoy the warmth of embers over here still for now though!

So obviously Twitter seems like its dying. I barely use it anyway so can't be bothered making a Mastadon, Blue Sky or similar, so I'll post more in Insta I reckon, especially if the Threads is happening there soon. So if you wanna stay mutuals.....

@kairos_horizon Hmm see the alien was interesting but I was enjoying it more before. Made me think I'd love a whodunnit from Anderson, all his big casts thrown together around a murder, could be fun!

[Ed @multidium]

@kairos_horizon See this is the thing, I felt it was a story within a story kinda vibe, so process of making a play. I feel like it gets so close to absolute greatness but fall very short, so annoying!
