It's hard to think about username when you're in a multifandom, like gls, kdramas, cdramas, western series, thai series, kpop, harry potter, and many more. ಥ‿ಥ
I suddenly wanna write a Jeverus AU where James is a party-goer and Severus just got dragged to a pub by his friend, then they spot each other across the crowd.
#Jeverus
Being a PrinceChaser fan is surviving on crumbs and convincing yourself that five fics are enough when they're clearly not.
any jeverus fic reco? ಥ_ಥ
People justifying James being a horrible bully who only ever bullied halfbloods 1v4 and unprivileged ppl compared to him- a rich pureblood. Will never stop being weird to me. I get it, you read too many fanfics.
Honestly, some of these fics have me ready to adopt young Severus myself. The amount of hate thrown at a traumatized kid is wild. Leave that boy alone.
You don't have to excuse his actions, and you don't have to like him. But understanding the experiences and environment that shaped him allows you to see his character with more depth and complexity.
He was far from a good person in many ways, but he was still human.
You don't have to like the character to understand them.
This is a severus snape thoughts, as a psych student. This is not to justify his behaviour but to understand where he is coming from.
Severus' story shows how much a person's environment can affect who they become.
He was wrong for bullying students, and that criticism is valid. What makes him interesting is that he is neither entirely good nor entirely bad. He is a flawed, damaged, & complicated person, which makes him feel more human than many characters who fit neatly into one category.
