@Clayton_Adams@cpagan42 Dusty isn’t a moderate by any stretch. He’s pro-insurrection / election denying Trump, anti LGBTQ, and shares Qanon and other right wing conspiracy theories. What are you even talking about moderate? The man is a monster.
@able_set love this! Looks really cool. I tried to download the free trial but it doesn’t seem to be working w/ my M1 Mac mini & Live 10 - plug-in opens but just spins. Help!
And if you have to call 911 make it clear that you do not want police or sheriff’s involved. In many counties it’s automatic, though. So someone on site has to be able to intervene with cops.
Are campaigning, and in that case, I can’t trust you would be anything more than another Joe Manchin. Or you’re untrustworthy in the eyes of voters who don’t vote with nuance, which is most apathetic voters, which is more voters.
Hey @TimRyan next time you run for a statewide national office, maybe focus on firing up your base and expanding it instead of taking positions against your own base. That may work in a district race for Youngstown, but in a senate election in OH you have 6 D strongholds with
Ability to amplify your message. There is no way that I can get people I know to support you and show up for you if they think 1) you don’t support even the bare minimum D positions and 2) you flip flop for votes of conservatives. So either you really are as conservative as you
@MattWalshBlog I went to school for 1.5 years. Lost my home and forced to out with about 15k in debt. My wages were eventually garnished for 4 years while working at a chipotle before a debt collector made me a deal to pay off my remainder in bulk at a discount. I 1000% suppprt debt relief.
Look at the comment section when @JohnFetterman does something and how much support he has. Then look at a @TimRyan comment section. I know Twitter isn’t the general public but it can be a gauge of general attitude and enthusiasm.
Tim Ryan, who opposes Biden's move to relieve student debt, is asked on CNN about a 2018 tweet in which he seemed to endorse the idea of relieving student debt
Maybe this plays well in a rural district like Youngstown, but in a statewide race, you need enthusiasm in your 5-6 democratic stronghold cities and college towns and then you need every single working class liberal / progressive vote in the rural areas.
POTENTIALLY MASSIVE in light of what we know now:
In Oct 2021, CIA Counterintelligence sent a top secret cable warning an unusually number of confidential informants were being killed, captured, or compromised.
In Jan 2021, Trump stole documents on these kind of informants.
@jhetertainment @mytheodoramora @TimRyan Actual Ohioan here. Yeah - I don’t understand Ryan thinking he needs to try to win Trump voters. Brown wins with a consistent “progressive for the Midwest” message that centers workers. — JUST DO THAT and focus on Vance being out of touch and Hollywood like Fetterman is with OZ
@jhetertainment @mytheodoramora @TimRyan Why would ANYONE vote for a liar? For someone who doesn’t believe what they say? Or who would flip their position once elected? It’s a losing strategy. Look at Fetterman in PA who is kicking OZ’s ass. Tim Ryan needs to do better.
