State of Washington is investigating We Heart Seattle for picking up the needles and fentanyl foil they hand out.

For six years we’ve removed hundreds of thousands of pieces of used drug paraphernalia from Seattle parks, greenbelts, and neighborhoods, the exact litter created by government-funded distribution programs.

Now L&I is investigating us for “improperly” collecting the same needles and foil that officials freely distribute and then leave for communities to deal with. This bureaucratic overreach will drain time and resources meant for cleanups and outreach.

@elsdawg I watched this show this month as well and loved it. I would give it a 8.5/10, but it felt like there should have been a better "solution" given to the last few episodes.. it's incredible regardless. Labor of love.
