There are many alternatives to #plastic just open your eyes and you can find it! I support #PlasticBan https://t.co/jb0e4DYrUx @AUThackeray @iramdaskadam @iam_juhi @DIY #BeRealNotPlastic

There are reports in media over our review meeting held yesterday that some items are exempted from the ban on single use disposable plastic. There are also images printed, creating confusion. I urge the media to wait for our official notification.

[Ramdas Kadam - रामदास कदम @iramdaskadam]

NO item that is single use disposable plastic is exempted. We have enlarged the scope of the ban, clarified the grey area in the items that are banned and not banned and strengthened government agencies.

[Ramdas Kadam - रामदास कदम @iramdaskadam]

For items that weren’t banned but in grey area, we have made recycling compulsory. We are also issuing a pictorial booklet. Please wait for it to come out.

Here’s a short film, Asurasta (with English subtitles for all) on this plastic ban and to understand its global impact

[antarachaughule @antarachaughule]

@rajuparulekar Completely disagree. Pl go out n see how many alternatives were already present but we refused to use them. There r so many ppl creating alternatives. Its a first step to fight against it. If the fine is not strict then there is no way ppl to follow.

[Savni Chaughule @iamSavni]

One day prior to the final impose of plastic ban, we have the exhibition on alternative to plastic and recycled/upcycled plastic !! Way to go @AUThackeray @iramdaskadam @ajaydevgn @KajolAtUN @iamvmahadeshwar All your efforts will surely help us fight the Plastic Monster !!
