@CDP1882 @CWGC This is the last message from the Red Cross of my Uncle Thomas Cooke. He too was captured in Singapore's fall, taken to Thailand and died aged 24 at Khanun Base camp. He is also buried at Kanchaburi cemetery and we try to always remember what he and so many others went through.

@Keir_Starmer So more pressure on schools and teachers. For the proposed 2.8% teacher pay rise no extra govt funding for schools, but to be funded by 'efficiencies' that will be real cuts in school's budgets. Priorities so right!
