The case of Chris Watts in Colorado.

He killed his 34 year old pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, who was 15 weeks pregnant with their son. Their daughters, Bella Watts (4 years old) and Celeste Watts (3 years old).

After killing Shanann at home, he put his daughters in the truck and drove them to his oil work site. The girls were still alive during that drive. He then smothered them before placing their bodies inside oil tanks (FULL OF OIL). He buried Shanann in a shallow grave nearby.

Later, he went on TV pretending he had no idea where his family was, asking for them to come home.

Motivation: He was having an affair and wanted a new life without the financial and family responsibilities.

In November 2018, Chris Watts pleaded guilty to multiple counts of first-l degree murder and unlawful termination of a pregnancy. He was sentenced to five life terms without the possibility of parole.
