An entire family was found dead in San Diego after mom sought help from the VA for her husband’s PTSD.

Amy Voight (54), David Voight, and their 13-year-old daughter Mya were all found dead from gunshot wounds on September 16th.

David Voight was a highly decorated U.S. Navy warrant officer who served for 30 years. He worked directly in war zones including Iraq and Afghanistan.

According to family members, David’s PTSD had recently become worse. Amy was encouraged to take David to the Department of Veterans Affairs clinic for help, which she did on September 15th. The receptionist said they would have to make an appointment and come back since the counselors were all busy at the time. 😔 #california #domesticviolence

This is what I’ve been saying ever since his testimony! Patrick can’t sit with the morbid reality that she did this intentionally. To quote the defense, “what kind of mother would?” Therefore it’s easier for him to forgive for his own emotional freedom.

And this is just speculation, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Reddington started grilling Pat since the arraignment to “remember” certain aspects of this case that would help her defense.
