Building a More Inclusive Digital and Creative Economy 🚀
The iDICE Programme recently organized a Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) training for its consultants and partners, strengthening their understanding of how inclusion can be integrated into the delivery of the programme.

The training focused on identifying and addressing barriers that may limit participation and access to opportunities within Nigeria’s digital and creative economy.

GESI goes beyond gender. It considers the diverse needs and experiences of women and men, persons with disabilities, young people, and other groups who may face barriers to participation.

By equipping the consultants working with iDICE with the knowledge and tools to apply inclusive approaches, the programme is taking an important step towards ensuring that its initiatives, opportunities, and interventions are accessible and responsive to diverse groups.

True inclusion goes beyond representation. It is about creating systems, spaces, and opportunities where everyone can participate, contribute, and thrive—regardless of gender, ability, background, or circumstance.

The IsDB component of the iDICE Programme continues to strengthen collaboration with Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs) through the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS).

The MIS will enhance programme monitoring, reporting, transparency, and efficient fund administration, enabling better support for MSMEs, startups, and innovators across Nigeria.

By improving programme efficiency and data-driven decision-making, this initiative contributes to enterprise growth, increased access to financing, and sustainable job creation within Nigeria’s digital and creative economy.
