Nobody has admitted that they abducted, or even, killed them
For some, it's been weeks, then months, and next, years
Cries for some sense of sense have fallen on deaf ears
They still have no body

Kenyan Journalists working for international Media houses like Associated Press, Reuters & BBC Africa have requested a parliamentary committee investigation into allegations of labour exploitation and violations of their rights.
In the statement read to parliament by Funyula MP Dr Wilberforce Oundo, International Media Houses have been accused of underpaying Kenyans, paying Kenyan freelancers as little as $150 while paying white freelancers up to $1500. The media houses have also been accused of paying Kenyan staff $1500 while paying White journalists up to $10,000 a month.
Kenya currently hosts the highest number of foreign correspondents in Africa, as many African countries have stringent laws against foreigners freelancing in their countries.
The international media houses have also been accused of bringing journalists from foreign countries to work in Kenya while refusing to hire Kenyans to the same jobs
Kenyan journalists have also complained of being blacklisted from work by Bureau chiefs whenever they raise complaints on the issues to do with pay and racial discrimination.
David Maraga: The right to a fair hearing is sacrosanct. The court finds that Gachagua was not given a fair hearing...In my view, after that finding, the inevitable conclusion would have been to annul that impeachment.
The primary tenets of a trial process is a fair hearing. Long before the Current Constitution, the Courts have nullified any decision that were made without following process . The Rigathi case cannot be left in our law books . It is a fallacy , abomination & and an embarrassment

It is perturbing to hear what q head of state says about a generation that is demanding great governance and power of unity in Africa. It is even more painful that these words are said by q mother!!
I remember begging the officers to allow us to make Dr. Obwaka comfortable because he was in poor health.
We were passed from one person to another, with no clear response (The Investigating Officers and the In-charge). Dr. Obwaka had shared that he had previously undergone heart surgery.
When we had no other option, we called emergency medical services and requested an ambulance. Only then did they allow him to receive medical care.
Imagine receiving medical attention in the parking area of the Judiciary at Milimani Law Courts.
Dr. Obwaka had been unlawfully arrested from his clinic and charged on what were fictitious claims, which were later dismissed.
Daktari rage in the light, and don’t let those who pushed your to poor health rest.!

Africa finally hosting the biggest human rights event felt like a long overdue moment for the continent and for many of us in the space.
Standing in solidarity with @accessnow and the entire @rightscon community. It’s quite a shame to the Zambian Government, we deserved better.
