The most impressive part of the Final Fantasy VII Revelation trailer was the fact that they released all 3 games within the span of 7 years, each game improving vastly over the last. This has really set a high bar and tone for the Final Fantasy series that I hope carries forward.

"I'd say it takes about 30 hours for a standard playthrough, and around 50 hours if you really dive in and explore every inch of the map across all the Era's.
