When "students" started the "anti-reservation protest" in #Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina used full force against them, killing hundreds, many people applauded her and suggested that PM Modi should learn from her how to deal with protestors.

Despite being in a 2/3 majority, she couldn't handle the protest even for a month and had to resign today.

Modi ji is still the PM despite over 50 small/big protests in the last 10 years.

Yes, I too want the govt to use force against such elements, but there’s something that PM Modi knows better than us. Bangladesh is the recent example of it.

All such protests have absolute backing from invisible forces; they’re not alone, and PM Modi knows it well. Each of his actions was well-calculated. He faced criticism from his own supporters and had to apologize to certain groups, but he didn’t let the global left ecosystem win.

You may love him or hate him, but if you analyze it properly, you’ll find how well he handled global pressure in the past 10 years and is still doing well.

That's Mariyappan Thangavelu. Just few hours back he won India's 🇮🇳 first ever Gold Medal in High Jump at World Para Athletics. Media won't share stories of such incredible athletes. But should know more about him.

At the age of 5, he met with an accident where a drunk bus driver ran over his right leg that permanently disabled his knee. His school physical education teacher encouraged him to try high jump and he excelled at it.

Comes from a humble background, he was was raised by a single mother working as a daily wage labourer and vegetable seller to support the family.

Despite this setback, he completed his schooling and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.

At the 2016 Rio Paralympics, he won the gold medal for India. In 2020 Tokyo Paralympics he could have won the gold again but the rains made the conditions difficand settled for a silver.

He is a Padma Shri and Arjuna Award winner. And won the Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award in 2020 which is India's highest sporting honor.

He used all his prize money to buy a paddy field for his mother and built a better house for his family.

Mariyappan believes that his right deformed big toe helps him to get the leap. “This is what gives me leverage when I jump,” he says. “It is my God.”

India is a country of amazing sporting talent. But we also need to be a country to celebrate all sports athletes.
Everyone doesn't get brand deals and sponsors. The only fuel for these athletes is their grit and determination. Our only job is to cheer them and share their stories.

Thus, in the old liquor policy, the government's earnings on a bottle was ₹329.89 while in the new liquor policy it is only ₹8.32. That is, a loss to the government of ₹321.57 per bottle from the new policy.

In the old policy, the retailer's commission was ₹33.39 whereas in the new policy the retailer's commission was ₹363.27 for a few months , i.e. profit to the retailer of ₹330.12 per bottle.

Thus, it is clear that the retailer benefits almost as much as the government suffers per bottle.

Now how did this benefit reach the manufacturer in the new policy? The manufacturers were allowed to open retail shops (which was illegal as per the rules).

Now look at the sales figures. In the old policy where the sale of liquor was 132 lakh liters per month, in the new policy, the sale of liquor per month is 245 lakh liters. To achieve this, the drinking age has been reduced to 18 years and the liquor sale time has been increased till 3 AM. Dry days have been reduced from 31 to only 3 days so that alcohol consumption is maximised.

Now you must have understood how huge a scam this is and how much money the Susu-Keju Caucus has earned, due to which the Chief Secretary had to ask the LG for a CBI investigation.

This is the condition of the AAP party which came to power with a thumping majority, claiming to eradicate corruption from politics.
