POLITICAL “EMPOWERMENT FORUMS” RHETORIC AS RUTO ERODES THE GAINS ON EDUCATION SECTOR …
♦️261,000 learners are unaccounted for as national exams start.
♦️ 1,233,852 sat KCPE in 2022. Only 1,048,355 are registered for KCSE this year. That is 185,497 fewer.
♦️ 1,281,210 sat KPSEA in 2023. Only 1,206,028 are registered for KJSEA. That is 75,182 fewer.
♦️ The combined gap is 260,679 learners.
♦️ The government promised 100% transition. These numbers raise hard questions.
♦️ Meanwhile, the exam machinery is under strain. Kuppet tells teachers to stay away until Knec addresses their pay. Principals want audits paused during exams.
♦️ Accountability is not optional. But neither is knowing where our children are.
Who are the 261,000? Where are they today? Kenya needs answers? Mr President. The buck stops with you
I follow Kenyatta national hospital on socials . They often post photos of some of their patients with captions of "Do you know this person" . Most of this people are men . Imagine being in hospital for months and nobody is looking for you 😨😨😨? . What a sad life you must live .
The beautiful thing about life is you can be 40 years and still haven't exhausted meeting people who will love you , they are out there living their lives not aware that one day you will meet and from there mean the world to each other. So dnt give up on people ,I know you have been hurt but allow people to love you . We dnt want to see you in that wall of sadness.
Just for the record, this opaque dealing was a breach of fiduciary duty by the management of the pension funds and state agencies involved. And this is regardless of whether or not they have made a profit from exiting this deal.
"a government's legitimacy is not self-granted. It is not conferred by winning an election, by delivering infrastructure, by economic policy, or by political alliances forged after the fact. Legitimacy is a standing condition, continuously earned, and it rests on one non-negotiable foundation, that the state does not turn its violence against the very people it claims to represent. This is the oldest idea in the social contract tradition: citizens surrender certain freedoms to the state in exchange for protection, not predation."
President William Ruto broke this social contract, that's why I am against him and anyone who supports him deserves all the ostracization possible on earth and in the heavens.
Death nayo ni final. Yaani you take your last breath and that’s it. Mambo yako inaishia hapo. No coming back to explain yourself, no second chances, no fixing unfinished business. Life just moves on without you. It’s a sobering thought when you really sit with it.
