Ms. @munerayousuf stated that while it was claimed “the Taliban would moderate their approach,” the group has shown no reform whatsoever. We are now facing a violence-scarred society that could inflict fresh harm—not only on Afghanistan itself, but on the entire region. Countries that have engaged with the Taliban directly or indirectly, and those Islamic nations that chose silence, will ultimately pay the price for this interaction.

Ms. @munerayousuf emphasized that a comprehensive grand strategy lies behind all these decrees. With their latest order, the Taliban have directly invaded the private sphere of the family. Their aim is to transform a woman—who has already been erased from public life—into a submissive and obedient figure inside the home as well, while turning the man into a harsh enforcer responsible for her subjugation. The ultimate outcome of this family-level control, she argued, will be the creation of a docile, “yes-sir” society that ensures the regime’s long-term survival. Another key objective is to preserve the Taliban’s links with terrorist networks and once again transform Afghanistan into a safe haven for international terrorism.

Dr. Nasir Ahmad Andisha argues that there is no justification—under any circumstances—for involving a ten- or eleven-year-old child in the marriage process, whether here or in any other Islamic countries such as Morocco, Indonesia, or Malaysia. This recent Taliban law opens the door for the application of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and establishes a new mechanism for imposing ta'zir punishments and other sanctions against the group.

خانم منیره یوسفزاده تاکید کرد که آنچه امروز در افغانستان جریان دارد، فراتر از زن‌ ستیزی، یک "جامعه‌ ستیزی" سیستماتیک است؛ طالبان با حذف ساختاری زنان و خانه‌ نشین کردن آن‌ ها، در واقع قدرت‌ نمایی می‌ کنند تا به کل جامعه پیام بدهند که هر صدای مخالفی سرکوب خواهد شد. این بحران تنها محدود به زنان نیست، بلکه تهدیدی علیه آینده‌ ی افغانستان و کل بشریت است.

Ms.@munerayousuf during her remarks in the webinar titled "From Matilda to Kabul: The Denial of Women – A Current Policy Defying Human Standards,” stated that to truly understand the situation of women under the Taliban, we must consider three distinct stages: the first is ignoring women, the second is restricting them, and the final stage is the structural elimination of women. This is a deliberate process aimed at transforming women from active members of society into completely dependent beings. The international community's repeated statement that "we stand with the women of Afghanistan" has become almost laughable. These global declarations are not only hollow but actually make the situation more dangerous, because they reflect a profoundly superficial understanding of this tragedy. Instead of issuing statements, the world should have stood firmly against the Taliban. What we are witnessing in Afghanistan today is not merely misogyny — it is a full-scale assault on society itself.If Afghan men believe this crisis concerns only women, they are deeply mistaken. This is a profound threat to the future of Afghanistan and, ultimately, to humanity itself.
During the Republic era, we fought against being ignored. But we never faced systematic, structural elimination. Today, the Taliban use the narrative of "moral corruption" to convince traditional society that the removal of women from public life is necessary to preserve their system.

امروز، در افغانستان تحت حاکمیت طالبان، اثر ماتیلدا به شکل افراطی و نهادینه‌ شده ظاهر شده است: جایی که نه تنها دستاوردها، بلکه حقوق بنیادین، حضور و حتی وجود اجتماعی زنان به ‌طور عمدی انکار، محدود و مجازات می‌شود. روز جهانی زن فرصتی است برای یادآوری این واقعیت تلخ و همزمان تأکید بر اینکه سکوت در برابر چنین آپارتاید جنسیتی، خود بخشی از همان مکانیسم تاریخی اثر ماتیلدا است.
