@geoffschwartz There were some great coaching moves and some huge clutch plays. 1) not sure what Skip did to settle Mercurious down against GA but wow. 2) Tockeys HR to win against GT coming back from 6-1 Those are what it takes. It also takes a Willets who is just as clutch as it comes.
@rwillie11 Interesting, I wasn’t expecting that answer, but I will say I have never seen a team struggle more with laying down a sac-bunt than we have the past few years…and I have listened/watched over 1000 oSu games. Makes me think you might be on to a contact issue. BA could hide it.
@BarstoolBig12@barstoolttu The outcome is a textbook reason why your largest donor should not be the sitting chairman on your Board of Regents. They need some checks and balances on agendas and due diligence moving forward. No other P5 has that…that is my biggest concern for TTU and B12.
@CodyNagel247 In coordination with TTU Texas AG Ken Paxton sent a letter to the Big 12 Conference on behalf of his client, TTU, warning that any conference sanctions against the school for playing the quarterback would be unlawful and would trigger a 200mm suit. Bad chess move!
@AlldayOstate Great! Now the NCAA is going to hammer oSu because our new coach is from Tech. (This is just a sarcastic joke because of the basketball punishment from self reporting). Real question is it the NCAA standard board of infractions or the IARP who handled. It matters!
@OSUBaseball@OSUAthletics Played 2 on a day where the home plate ump couldn’t make it through the first game (hope he’s good, that right there is how heat strokes happen). Tough conditions and were right there. I sure do appreciate them giving it everything they had.
@AlldayOstate So I asked chat where Josh ranks across every statistical category amongst active ncaa coaches. The answer was the top 5-10% of all coaches. I then asked the percentage of negative X posts about Josh ~73% of all posts I’ll take math over opinion 100% of the time. Human nature?
@PPetesStache Currently 29th RPI with a 6+ ERA (didn’t have that combo on my bingo card. I don’t think it is coincidence that we had a step back in pitching with Rob Walton retiring . He was exceptional and absolutely made players better, but wow this has been fun to see.
@OKSTMart Then ask it to estimate based on his negative tone in articles pertaining to oSu. The answer is approximately 70-80%. This magic is at all of your fingertips. LLMs are mathematical in design. It counts really fast. You just have to ask the questions right.
@OKSTMart You just ignore it. A simple LLM question on your phone answers the why. Everything from Thayer Evan’s fabricated SI article to Bill Hastings negativity toward oSu (both OU graduates). It is agenda politics guised as reporting. Ai and the LLMs are 10 second solutions.
@CPyles8 Point being not just get more bonus, but earning higher seeds allows for better opportunity to do that. OSU had some tough 32/16 matches at a few mid seeds. 5-9 seeds are very different than 1 routes. OSU wrestles a beast of a non-con. Should they?
@CPyles8 PSU did that pretty much from the Championship side of the bracket vs wrestlebacks. (I.e less matches) so I think it is wider than that on weighting although the 7#1s meant they faced much weaker seeds. Unless I missed they only faced 6 top 5 seeds as a team all tourney.
@WrestlingSNL Not sure of his timing or audience unless he wanted to create a flurry of speculation and rumors. I like positive and determined Cael a lot more than how he was in that interview. Your great team did great things…why go there so generalized at that time?
@RowdyC85080@MatScouts1 I’ll check it out and yes they make big impactful mistakes even with replay. I just don’t think canceling or doxing have any place in sports. On a subjective call, one side will be mad. Fans are the issue they take it way too far. I’ve seen it happen to teams I follow a lot.
@RowdyC85080@MatScouts1 Me being an OK state fan has nothing to do with it. I cheer for all those kids not just the Cowboys. They all work their tails off. I’ve seen 20 calls this year go the other way. I’ve seen this rule subjectivity cause issues 100s of times this year! Ref blame is lame!
