@AmbokoJH This guy was a clown that was brought to regulate commercial banking with no experience of how commercial banks operate or how real economy works. He has brought much suffering and destruction and absolutely no benefit to the banking sector in Kenya during his ill fated tenure.
@reubenmuhindi Dangote is trying to hide our nakedness by labelling employee theft as sabotage. In Africa theft is a major cost of all businesses. This is not the case in most other parts of the world that have similar levels of poverty as our continent. We need to ask why.
@Chicago1Ray Calm down MAGA. American law does not prohibit taking bulk cash out of the country provided you:
•Declare by filing FinCEN Form 105
•Can show source of funds is legal (remittances received from diaspora customers)
•Are not violating sanctions
•Are not laundering money
@Milajoy Calm down. This is a federally approved way of remitting legitimately earned money back to their home countries in East Africa. Previously it would wired through banks. But banks declined after the WoT due to risks arisin from overzealous AML enforcement, hence this cash process.
@LamarFawn@MoSalah No we don’t. The clown manager is the problem and then he throws Salah under the bus (bench). You expect him to take it and not react. Fans who boo Trent and now piling on Salah don’t seem to understand how they demoralise the players.
KAA claims “their mandate is to provide safe, secure & efficient airport service”. Please delete efficient as it takes you at least one hour to unload luggage after plane lands. And it is just one flight that has landed @davis_chirchir
@basilthegreat This guy seems detached from
reality and shame to Piers Morgan for platforming him. “Mass and sadistic rape”, “country falling apart”. The world has gone bonkers and racists and bigots are gaslighting everyone.
@TWalk40188 @iwasnevrhere_ @grok Mr Walker first hopes this is invalidated by asking Grok. Grok confirms image is true and cites media reports. He tries to doubt the media and asks if Isreali media reported it. Grok confirms. Having run out of excuses tries to get some credit that media in Israel is free.
This teacher is obviously a rare civilised gem in that place, given the vast majority of the comments are condemning him citing nonsense like - country is federal, community flags is fine etc. Majority Somalis are still atavistic nomads yet to understand the concept of nationhood
Somalia has serious issues to address. While it's one tribe , clanism is a huge problem time immemorial, but bracelets depicting your clan is a whole new level low level indeed . This teacher is the kind of leader Somalia and Africa needs.
Can you imagine in Kenya, kids wearing a bracelet indicating your tribe.
Somali bloggers who on Kenya case day in day out should be condemning this nonsense of Qabil Qabil which useless clanism.
For your loved ones arriving ; KRA spends so
Much energy and effort to look for revenue (how much does it actually obtain here). It is as if entire airport is not intended for human use. Surely we can do better KAA. Do something.
JKIA is the most inefficient and under unfriendly airport of its size in the world. The luggage comes through 1 hour after flight lands when there is only one flight that landed. Immigration takes 15-30 mins; you are bullied into the cold and sometimes rain by NYS as you wait
@AnalystSomalia@omardhagey You know or ought to know, fiscal policy, borders, foreign affairs & defence belong to the FEDERAL govt. Pretending they’re state matters is just a cheap excuse to normalise ethnic balkanisation. Justifying your view on the current weakness of the national govt is a red herring.
@elonmusk Could the cause of that be the ever decreasing access to resources and wealth due to concentration of this is the hands of a few billionaires, hence most people can hardly afford to raise families.
@KenyaPower@KenyaPower_Care Why is there no power for over 15 hours from yesterday evening. 28/1124, and still counting in Mageta Road Lavington. Power outages are now a weekly occurrence here. When does kplc plan to get on top of their mandate to provide reliable supply of electricity.
I started collecting Somali artifacts at the end of 2021, jokingly calling it a home museum. The collection has grown a lot since then, along with my love for Somali material culture. This is our shared heritage and I hope to make it publicly accessible in 2024 insha’Allah.
Great initiative to drive forward Nairobi’s ambition to be an international financial centre. Such organ at CBK will help both the growth of the nascent local Islamic Banking and at macro economic level to tap into the global Islamic financial funds. https://t.co/5Tpx1znAI4
FG of Somalia isn’t aware of the concepts of nepotism and conflict of interest. A cabinet minister brazenly confirms in parliament the first people he’d employ are his relatives. And the tragedy is most of the top officials & politicians of FGS share his warped views. @EGaraad_
@hon_mohamedweli@SuleimanHashi The gentleman brazenly says South Korea was recognised in 1991. South Korea became independent of Japan in 1945 and the Republic established in 1948. And I find the audacity of even comparing Somalia economic progress to South Korea too galling.
