I returned to work as an English HoD in September following Mat Leave. I want to approach my Head about the possibility of some flexibility in my working hours (ideally 0.8)...has anyone had experience of this or any suggestions to help me with a plan? @Team_English1

@CostaCoffee disappointed to be given a Millionaire’s shortbread that seems to be missing any shortbread today. It was brought out on a click and serve, so they must have realised it and decided to give it to me anyway. Maybe thought since I’d drive away I wouldn’t complain!

@AvantiWestCoast@thetrainline Thanks, that's really unhelpful. We're a week away...I can't wait until any closer to the date, I need to ensure I have a way to get from London to Stoke. Clearly driving is the much better option.
@AvantiWestCoast When will tickets from London to Stoke for Sunday 2nd October be released? It doesn't seem possible to book weekend tickets on your website and every other site (trainline etc.) just says 'coming soon' - when?! The same for the weekend after!
@AvantiWestCoast@thetrainline Thanks but that's not very helpful. All that information does is tell me the services might not be running, even though it's not a day of strike action. How can I find out which trains are running, and get a ticket for them?!
@AvantiWestCoast@thetrainline From London to either Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford on Sunday 2nd October. We are also trying to book the same on Sunday 9th October (and down the day before) but the priority is the one in a week's time!
@AvantiWestCoast I set up the alerts but still nothing from your website. @thetrainline said the same, then the 'alert' sent an email today saying there will be no advance fares. How are we supposed to book tickets on the trains?!

@birminghamcg22 we live an hour away, yet these are the suggested routes on your journey planner. Is this really the best option with public transport?!
@sainsburys I didn’t get a response to my question and have been billed the higher delivery charge. What happens now? I couldn’t amend because of YOUR technical issue that was magically fixed 1 minute after the deadline.
@sainsburys with 25 minutes to go it’s unlikely we’ll be able to amend our orders so I can’t add to go over the £40 for delivery. Will I be billed the higher delivery charge because, due to your technical issue, I can’t amend to make my order over £40?
@sainsburys Seriously?! That’s you ‘done’ for the evening?! You fail to reply to people’s tweets then suddenly, come the magic hour of 11pm, the website returns when no one can sort their orders. Disgraceful customer service.
