Recently, there has been a lot of talk about Zambian medical doctors being unavailable for patient care. The accusations have come from various members of the public including and mostly, politicians. A glaring editorial in the News Diggers sealed the damage.
Not without saying a few may abuse the process. The solution lies in creating a system that correctly accounts for their time. In order for us to have a Healthcare system like the UK, US or SA, we need drs to be drs. Drs teach, research, consult and see pts. Dont demonise them!
