It might be hard to believe, but Mupple hasn't actually gone away or anything.
It's just been tough to find time and creative energy to actually produce any content over the past couple of years.
Hoping to break that streak soon.
@SeveringFayth@ffweeklypod 100% this. A moment between two people whoโd both been holding back for a long time, crushed by the weight of expectation in one case, and by a feeling of futility for the other.
@FFXTidus2@FrankieLollia They were made into mandatory enemies for game completion and were muuuuch weaker as a result. I think the main reason I stuck it out in the end was because, despite how cheesy it was, I was mega invested in the Yuna x Tidus relationship. Also teenage me crushed on Rikku lol
@FFXTidus2@FrankieLollia Yeah the gameplay being more action focused helps it a lot, and to be honest I found the story mostly forgettable, but it was nice getting to spend some time seeing what happened to characters after the end of X. The dark Aeons got a huuuuge downgrade though -_-
@FFXTidus2@FrankieLollia Yeah thatโs a fair point I was being a bit reductive. Iโve definitely heard people argue that the dress sphere grid and โgirl-focusedโ cast stopped them playing tho, and thatโs a shame. Utter bollocks of a story or not itโs a fun game.
I've been working on two different Sonic-based scripts for new videos for like 3 months now. The start of every year is a shit show in terms of how much work I have at my day job, and how product I feel like I can be while living in Gloomsville
Saw a post: "With high functioning autism, you may have a job. With low functioning autism you may require a checklist every time you leave the house"
...who's gonna tell em about autistics who BOTH have jobs + need lists?
(#ActuallyAutistic ppl deserve better understanding)
One thing that not enough people are recognizing about Elden Ring is how great it is for teaching you how to spell the name of early 1900s British horror novelist John Wyndham
