For example: no matter how connected you are, you can never practice Medicine with a Grade 12 Certificate. 😂
Connections work well if you have the necessary skills or qualifications for the position you are vying for.
@mutachali What has free education got to do with construction of airports, the same budget has higher figures for defense and security but u are not making any comparisons
HH NAMES FOUR FORMER MPs WHO VOTES AGAINST BILL 7
By Dante Bwalya
President Hakainde Hichilema has named Garry Nkombo, Elijah Muchima, Newton Samakayi and Elias Mubanga as four former United Party for National Development (UPND) Members of Parliament who voted against Bill 7.
Speaking at Solwezi Airport, President Hichilema says the actions of the four had the potential to undermine some of the government's major achievements, including free education and reforms aimed at enhancing women's participation in governance.
The Head of State has further called for loyalty and unity among UPND Members of Parliament, particularly those from North-Western Province, stressing the need for party members to remain committed to the ruling party's agenda.
The president is currently attending a church service at SDA Chawama and is later expected to meet and engage UPND party structures in the province.
However, Gary Nkombo, who appeared on Diamond Live earlier this week, said he voted in support of Bill 7 and that he was surprised with the manner he which he was treated by his own party.
#NewsOnTheGo
Now I understand why the UPND choose loyalty of quality in some of the adopted parliamentary candidates, coz why would any sane persons think Bruce Kanema, Trevor Mwiinde, Anderson Banda, Mwaliteta among others should MPs over many credible people within the party.
The President named 4 MPS who did not vote for bill 7. Among them,Gary Nkombo, Elijah Muchima, Elias Mubanga and Newton Samakai. He said the rest of the MPs “followed the instruction to vote for bill 7”, and that he wants loyal members “those who will work with the president”.
@Takunachola Even just roads first, it would make more sense having dual carriage way to each provincial capital than airports, I mean what will lozi's do with an airport lol
Perhaps people need some perspective; we’re talking about a gang that was used to throwing bank notes into fires for entertainment; literally setting K100 notes ablaze at drinking parties & competing to see which group could keep the fire going the longest. Like it was a sport 😭
Sorry Mr president but some of the MP candidates are not good enough and we can't vote for them just because we are voting for you. They are some elements our party should have not even looked at their applications

INDEPENDENT presidential candidate Given Katuta says it has not been easy to campaign for the August general election as many supporters expect money, regalia and drinks, like it is party time.

We have puppets who can't even think of boycotting it. If only teams like England, France, Germany, Argentina can speak out and threaten to boycott, then the bald jerk would bow down
