This genuinely breaks me. Xabi Alonso was a hero to me long before he became our coach. Watching him leave like this, because of a few ego driven pricks, is heartbreaking

Gracias, Xabi. You’ll always be one of us 🥺🤍

@marymadridista_ REINCARNATION

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

TURTLEEEE😭😭

bellingham and diamonde knew exactly when to release the ball instead of doing that pointless corner flag nonsense. and what a finish by mbappé 🐢🤍

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

DICTATOR STRIKESS 😭❤️❤️❤️

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

We’re so FUCKI*G BLESSED to have ARDAAAAAA

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

bro enough with the refs. why are we making the same mistakes every game with zero tactical adjustments? poor defending, no control, questionable game management. this is real madrid, we can’t keep blaming everyone else while ignoring our own problems. F*ck these excuses 🤦‍♂️

CUÁNTA RAZÓN 👏🏻

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@kimmquis I would love to see him back, but not under perez 🤦‍♂️

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@itsceev under xabi, tchouameni was actually controlling the tempo in midfield and dictating play with his passing. zubimendi was obviously xabi’s first choice, but tchouameni was doing a pretty good job there too ngl

My G 🐐

@Dr__Ignacio The trio Mbappe, Espi and diomande 🙂‍↕️

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@kimmquis I actually went to a watch party in toronno when Portugal played Croatia, and the crowd was INSANE 😭😂 The atmosphere was so different from anything I’d experienced before. That’s when you really get to feel the football culture here lol

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@MikhaeIII @Dr__Ignacio Yo dm me too if he dmd you

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@Dr__Ignacio As someone who’s also in Canada, I can confirm this shit is ridiculous 😭😂 I just wanna watch football without needing 5 different subscriptions and a second source of income 💀 🇨🇦

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@marymadridista_ @MadridXtra Honestly sad seeing him like this 😭 Bro deserved a proper goodbye. What a tough run, he never even got a proper goodbye at Madrid, Man United, and now Portugal 💔

This team needs the old Mourinho. They need a ruthless leader, someone with a much lower tolerance of mediocrity. None of these problems of the last 2 years are going to get solved anything soon repeating the same things and being so gentle.

Nothing was right the second they came out in the 2nd half. These guys haven’t been up for a Derby at the Metropolitano in years. No urgency, no pride. No life. No leaders. Body language terrible. You’re facing a team that wants to rip your soul out. Show some balls.

Yes, Huijsen brain fart was the nail in the coffin but it wasn’t good 11 v 11 either, and Cucurella was marking 2-3 players by himself with Vinicius walking the entire time he was on the field and the tracking from Tchouameni / Fede being as poor as it was.

Any double pivot that doesn’t include Bernardo is going to be toasted in any big game. It has zero leadership, has no ability to escape pressure, and can't control the ball against a good midfield for more than 10 seconds.

I get that Trent has defensive struggles, but Dumfries has been shocking. Been disappointed with him so far.

You’ve committed to Vini-Mbappe again for the foreseeable future. They’re not compatible even when playing well, let alone Vinicius in this form. There are hungry players on the bench who can produce more at this stage.

My theory was that Mourinho was going to come in for the first couple months without wanting to disrupt things too much — to give some of these stars a chance / benefit of the doubt; and that maybe he’ll need to see it up close in a game of this magnitude. It’s time for those big decisions to come now.

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@Dr__Ignacio :((

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@Dr__Ignacio I knew this was gonna happen 😭 It’s totally on the players for not finishing this game

[Muqeet @muqeet_rao7]

@marymadridista_ When you don’t finish your chances, this is what happens 😭
