A mother’s inspiring run for her daughter’s future has now received support from the Maharashtra government.

Ramabai Ranveer, from Ambajogai, won hearts after running a marathon barefoot and dressed in a traditional saree to raise money for her daughter’s education.

Her story gained attention after media coverage highlighted her determination to support her family and ensure her daughter could continue her studies.

Maharashtra Social Justice Minister Sanjay Shirsat has now confirmed that the state government will provide Ramabai with suitable financial assistance to support her family and her daughter’s education.
