While CM Vijay @TVKVijayHQ signed ₹5143 crore additional investment with JK Tyres @JKTyreCorporate last month promising 3510 new jobs,

Local TVK MLA without any knowledge on what CM has signed, demands in the assembly that JK tyres company s polluting the area and must be shut down immediately. It’s bizarre that even an Industry like JK tyre that’s certified by state govt for zero discharge is now being threatened in the assembly.

If this is not banana republic then what else ? 🤦‍♂️

The only sector that looks safe in Tamil Nadu right now is the reels factory.

@Arappor

At just 6, Raja Gope from Jharkhand was separated from his father after boarding the wrong train 😨

He ended up in Kerala, far from his family, and over the years he even forgot his native language 🙁

For 13 long years, his family waited and hoped to find him 😥

Then, the efforts of Jharkhand Police and Kerala authorities finally helped bring him back home 🔥

After 13 years, Raja reunited with his mother and four sisters 🥰

Raja was welcomed home with drums, dancing and a procession organised by students from his old school 🥳

A lost child found his way home again. Sometimes, hope truly does come back 🥹

DMK, ADMK, BJP, PMK, AMMK & DMDK have taken a pro developmental and pro Parandur stand🙏🏻

There is a political alignment happening in TN on Parandur airport issue

[MURALI VENKAT @MURALIVENKAT5]

@sumanthraman Dr have some digene

[Kasthuri @KasthuriShankar]

Vijay announces that Parandur is scrapped. Ten years planning and so much taxpayer money washed out. Central govt funds rejected. Businesses rebuffed. Tamilnadu voters betrayed.
This is a huge blunder by the TVK govt and a big setback for TamilNadu economy.

Any decision should be made based on development and long term vision...not political antics.

[Sumanth Raman @sumanthraman]

This is a real disaster for Tamil Nadu. With this one move the CM has shown that he lacks the pragmatism needed to make Governance a success. Does he have an idea how long the process takes to finalize a location for an airport? Chennai is already a backwater in India. This will push us back a decade even further.

People of Tamil Nadu must realise the mistake we have made. Whether it was Kalaignar or Jayalalithaa they were pragmatic. They may have taken political positions against projects but once in power they mostly accepted them with only a few exceptions.

This is looking more and more like a Tughlaq Government.

And the geniuses thumping their desks for the abandonment of a project is symptomatic of how Tamil Nadu is going down the tube.

Just furious....😡😡😡

A tiger doesn’t fear the jungle. A true officer doesn’t fear the system.

You proved it again, @Tukaram_IndIAS Sir.

Another big raid in Maharashtra.

FDA has suspended the licences of 4 Domino’s outlets after serious food safety violations were found:

- Veg and non-veg food not properly separated.
- Problems with food storage, temperature checks, food testing, cleanliness, and pest control.
- Raw and cooked food not properly separated.
- Poor hygiene and safety practices.

This is exactly how food safety rules should be enforced.

And this was not just Domino’s. The FDA inspected 104 chain restaurant establishments across Maharashtra, with 2 ordered to stop business, 95 served improvement notices and 5 licences suspended.

Huge respect to you, Sir. Let the big brands feel the fear. No one should be allowed to play with public health.

THE TIGER HAS ENTERED THE JUNGLE.

I want to share what I consider as an illustrative incident for today's Gen.

Last Friday when I was about to disembark from the flight in Chennai from Delhi a passenger from the other side of isle introduced himself as Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan and as a follower of my comments and writings.

When I asked about him he said he was a plastic surgeon in UK for 30 years and is back in Chennai to look after his nonagenarian parents. With that our conversation ended as we disembarked

But what he said -- he came back to look after his aged parents -- made me reach out to him. Yesterday I could trace him with the scrappy details I had got and spoke to him today. He practices as a plastic surgeon in Chennai and is a consultant in Apollo. His father Dr Venkatrasami was a famous plastic surgeon who established a surgery set up in Stanley Hospital in Chennai which is near industrial area where workers lose limbs in accidents calling for surgeries. A block in Stanley is named after Dr Venkatrasami.

Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan himself had a roaring pratice in UK. But the call of his duty to his aged parents made him give up that to come back to India two years back

I thought it is my duty as a journalist to inform the public about illustrative sons like him who value their moral relational obligations more than their personal career

It is those who like Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan sustain intergenerational dharmic responsibilities that keeps our relation based society functional. We are not and can never be a contract based society. According to SBI economic research 84% of parents live with their children in India. This culturally inherited social and emotional security is irreplaceable by state law or courts in our country.

I feel proud of sons like Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan who stand by the basic dharma of Matru Devo Bhava Pitru Devo Bhava
My salutes him and urge the young Indians to inbibe this irreplaceable cultural virtue exemplified by Dr Venkat Ramakrishnan

Ten students from one government school in Tamil Nadu clear NEET.

Ten students from Iduvampalayam Government Higher Secondary School in Tiruppur district have cleared the NEET 2026 exam and are set to pursue medical education. Coming from ordinary families, this is a remarkable achievement for a government school.

VETRY Trust is an NGO led by T.R. Sivaram. VETRY has supported this school for nearly two decades, adopting it in 2007, improving infrastructure, funding extra teachers, and providing specialised coaching for competitive exams like NEET.

People like Sivaram contribute more to society than a thousand social activists.

why neutral venue..this is too much..undermining govt stature..they should come to govt venue only

[Vasudha Venugopal @Vasudha156]

The Govt and CJP need to pick a neutral venue and do it fast. Give students what they deserve: the assurance that their future is safe. They need to talk to each other, not at each other. Raj Ghat, Gandhi Smriti, Old Parliament, a State Bhawan… the venue shouldn’t be the stumbling block. Choose one. Meet. Discuss. Resolve….
