The Ministry of Housing, Works, Lands & Urban Development has started the National Highway & Community Beautification Project 🚗🌳 This was done with APUA to pinpoint the spots for planting the palm trees as the electric wires will be buried underground in 2024 🌿

📍TANNER STREET: Progress is in full swing as our dedicated Public Works team aims towards remedying the damages to the large drain and adjacent roads. A comprehensive, long term design for the area is being worked on and will involve all necessary agencies.

In St John's Rural East, road works are currently underway to finally address decades of persistent drainage issues that have plagued the community. Issues like these across the entire island will continue to be addressed.
