RUTO'S ADVISERS, PLEASE DON'T HIDE THIS FROM HIM.
At Uhuru Park, during Rao's candle lighting ceremony presided over by Gladys Mapangale, something happened that deserves more attention than the speeches.
With ODM flags, colours and merchandise everywhere, the crowd began chanting:
“SIFUNA! SIFUNA! SIFUNA!”
Even with political heavyweights around, the name rising from the crowd was Edwin Sifuna.
That is the political intelligence.
Mr President, you can ignore a opinion poll.
You can dismiss an analyst.
You can attack a headline.
But when a politically mobilised crowd finds its own voice, you better listen.
This was not a random passerby crowd.
It was an ODM gathering, filled with people emotionally connected to Raila's legacy.
And yet the chant was not simply about the past.
It was pointing toward the future.
Sifuna is a reality.
Not a social-media fantasy.
Not a Nairobi joke.
Not a passing political slogan.
A new political generation is announcing itself.
And the ground remains WANTAM.
Ruto's advisers can keep giving him comfortable reports.
But sooner or later, reality will walk through the gates of State House.
Sifuna is a change whose time has come.
SCENES PALE MOMBASA AFTER PRESIDENT RUTO'S VISIT 🚨
Wakenya wameamua hawataki story za UDA na Ruto.
Wakenya wanataka HE Edwin Sifuna
No wonder Ruto has been having mood swings for the past 3 days
Lakini si hata nyinyi mnaona mna uchokozi 😅. After kukula pesa yake mnaanza kuimba wantam, na hata merchandise yao hamjatoa. No wonder he is seeing Sifuna in his nightmares.
A man records as his friend is assaulted by police officers following a confrontation that began after the rider questioned whether they were genuine police officers.
How the situation was in Mombasa. No wonder the nongwe has been throwing insults with anger throughout the tour.
Wanainchi wamechanuka. Ni kukula and singing WANTAM to the Sugoi economic bandit.
The ground is hostile all over!
“20 years from now, put up your hands if you will still be here.” A joke that was never really a joke.
To understand ED, you have to understand his use of humour and riddles. Sometimes, the joke carries the message.
ED is Zimbabwe’s most complex political figures.
The Bible says that when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. Millions of citizens across several African countries will now sleep easier because Wicknell Chivayo is dead.
Chivayo was a money launderer for several African leaders who stole from their people, including Kenya’s President Ruto. Those leaders looted public funds and murdered those who dared to protest. Chivayo helped them hide the money. Just like that, Ruto has lost one of his biggest wallets.
Ruto dined with Chivayo almost every other week and gave him a Kenyan diplomatic passport. In August, he was seen driving him around something he has never been seen doing publicly for his wife or even his children.
And just like that, the man dies, most likely taking the secrets of where the stolen money is hidden with him. Ruto is weeping right now. This is only the beginning.
The blood of the innocent Gen Z youth Ruto murdered is crying out for justice, and they will get it. It is also a reminder that no matter how much you steal, you cannot bribe death.
It is all vanity.
In the words of our national anthem, justice will be our shield and defender.
Once we get into power, we shall investigate the late Chivayo’s criminal activities in Kenya and recover the money he hid for Ruto.
